Q: Is this only for type four hair? I have 2c-3a hair, would it still work?

Yes, it should work. This product contains some jojoba oil. Those with type 2 curls (2a, 2b, 2c) should aim for lighter oils such as grapeseed, jojoba, or sweet almond oils. These oils aren't too dense and will provide the lightweight hydration that type 2 hair needs. The hair strands for 3a curls will withstand this mousse.

Q: Can this be used on synthetic crochet hair?

Absolutely! I've used it several times on crochet passion twists. It's gives it shine and helps with keeping the hair from tangling. It will even help refresh your edges while in a crochet, with a little spritz of water, mouse, edge brush, and scarf.

Q: Would this work on my 2c-3a hair, or only type 4 hair?

I'm not an hairstylist, but I have multi-textures. I have 3ab edges/nape and 4c crown. This worked beautifully for a finger coil, and I have even used it for a twist out. I will say for both I paired the mousse with the matching custard.

Q: Does it control frizz?

I have 2C high porosity hair and this did not work for me unless combined with other hair products. I love in a desert climate.
