Needed a new pump after buying this kit!
Seriously though, after getting the pump off I found a previous... mechanic... had broken a mounting ear off and gobbed silicone all over it to hide his sin. The new o-rings however fit great and are keeping it sealed. The old ones all had serious compression set; the one on the nipple valve was leaking profusely. While pricey I accept that as the value of having someone else figure out the size and material is worth it. There were visible parting lines on the rings but I don't expect that to cause any problem. I did however make sure the rings weren't twisted after installing them to make the parting line even. Quality wise, that's the only thing I noticed as an imperfection. The cord diameter was appropriate or maybe a bit generous, which is good. An improvement to the kit would be to include a replacment hose clamp. My pump has 200k km on it and nothing inside was even remotely worn. Unless your mechanic broke it for you, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't just reseal your old one.

Quality product
Replaced the o rings for the vacuum pump internally and the one that attaches to the cham chain side. Was abit confused as my pump is slightly different. So far no leak and will monitor over the next few weeks. The green o ring for the vacuum port I didn’t use it... will install it another day but I won’t be removing the pump this time. Will remove just the section from the pump and complete it. In short it’s well worth it to try this rebuild kit before replacing the entire vacuum pump. If I could I’d have bought the lifetime kit, as it was a pain to remove my aftermarket intake, battery and pump (I did this so I could clean all the oil around the area). Just take your time with this so you do not screw up!

If you have a vacuum pump leak try this.
We were told by Audi that we had to buy a complete vacuum pump unit as they did not do repair kits. This was over £250 but we went ahead and ordered the part. It didn’t fit and after several incorrect pumps we bout this kit in a last ditch attempt to sort the leak. It works just fine and even with expedited deliver was a quarter of the pump price. Excellent bit of kit.

Fits and works - What its for
Installed and working no more leaks. Mine unfortuately didnt come with the special gasket and I had to reach out to support to get it replaced. (-1 star) They answered quickly and sent it right out. Would have been nice not to have to. Needs better QA process.

Great and inexpensive alternative for a common leak
Installed a week ago on my '07 Passat's (2.0T-BPY) Old Style Vacuum Pump. All applicable O-rings fitted perfectly. Great and inexpensive alternative for a common leak... $33 vs $250+ for a new Pump. Will come back for another review after running the car for a few hundred miles.

Meh. You can find these orings at Lowe's or auto parts store like NAPA.
I only order this as I needed to fix a vacuum leak in a hurry. The o rings are ever so slightly smaller than original and made it troublesome installing the cover plate because the o ring kept popping off. Secondly, the vaccum port o ring is not a flat one as is the original and was a PITA to get the port back in. Still, after it was all installed, it did not leak...for a few days... I heard the vacuum port leaking and confirmed it with soapy water. LAME. Not happy.

It worked
This worked perfect for my 2008 vw eos turbo. I replaced the old one with this and it worked! No more leak and it runs better now.
