Beautiful heavy desk
Bought a pair of these. Based on the reviews I decided to let my handyman build them for me rather than tackle it myself. I will say he ran into a few problems he managed to solve. Now that they are built, we like them a lot. Very sturdy, looks like a good quality desk. Plenty of storage space in the drawers. I bought a large IKEA kitchen drawer organizer for the central drawer as I don't need it for a keyboard, and smaller Rubbermaid organizers for the other shallow drawers. I did pull off the plastic feet and replace them with heavy felt stick-on pads to protect our wood floors. They slide easily on those pads when you need to move the desk to deal with computer wires. Edited to say: Watch out for the astonishing amount of styrofoam crumbs inside the boxes and sticking to every single part. Never seen anything like it. Open the boxes out in your garage or on the porch instead of inside your home, and have your vacuum cleaner at the ready. A week or so later and I am STILL picking up bits of styrofoam. My handyman (who almost had to go home looking like a snowman) joked that I'd be picking up bits of styrofoam for a year. I hope not, but it sure would be nice if the manufacturer would clean up its act on this score.

Excellent quality
First rate quality. This desk looks great. It is sturdy and appropriately heavy. The finishes, the quality and the construction all point to the fact that this desk will last for decades. Assembly was simple with all parts fitting as they should fit.

Nice desk, storfy, with some caveats...
The good: Hardwood and engineered wood. Heavy, feels quite sturdy. Machine screws and tapped inserts hold the primary structure of the desk together instead of cams. Visually quite nice. Extra parts were supplied. The boxes were roughed up in shipping, but no parts were damaged given the generous foam packing material. The not-so-good: Look at the keyboard drawer. Yes, there is less legroom width under the desk than typical computer desks. The added keyboard drawer also makes the height of the leg space shorter than typical desks. While I liked the machine screws and tapped inserts, two of the inserts pulled out of the wood they were tapped in to. The alignment of several holes were off in several places making for difficult assembly, a couple of the drawers are hard to slide shut, and rub on the wood above them when closed. One of the parts had a dowel pounded in to one of the drilled peg holes that should have been left open, and needed to be removed with additional tools. There is a lot of foam packing that must be discarded. The bad: Both boxes were filled with glistening 'hairs' up to 1.5 inches long covering the parts. I thought they were fiberglass shards, but I think they're plastic or some byproduct of the manufacturing process or shipping materials. I had to spend a lot of time wiping the parts down with damp cloths. Final thoughts: This thing is heavy, so get help when trying to move it. I plan on removing the keyboard drawer to reclaim some leg room. I'm not a fan of keyboard drawers; it's not ergonomic to have to be reaching up to the desk top use a mouse. Removing the keyboard drawer will mean modifying the desk- the horizontal wood piece you see just below the drawer is hardwood and will need to be sawed off. Would I buy this again? Yes, but not as a primary computer desk.

Quality issues seem to be corrected, great desk!
Great looking, solid wood desk. I think they worked out the quality issues with prevailed holes not matching. I had no issues with any holes matching up, I could get all the screws started by hand, then tightened by the allen wrench tool. The reviews about the mismatched holes seem to be from 2019 or 2020. I was expecting at least one based on reviews but everything was right on. It comes shipped in two different boxes, part 1 and part 2. For me they were delivered a day apart and I would have been confused but I didn't have time to open box 1 the day it arrived and then the other box was delivered. I can only find one complaint - one of the preinstalled drawer rails must be off a tiny bit because one drawer rubs on the top when I close it. That's the only thing I found, for that reason, 5 stars. Also, my stick vacuum fits under the desk, bonus.

too small to be effective
052024 This desk is attractive, well made and a good price. Although I checked the outer dimensions, I didn't consider the inside of the drawers. They are simply too small. Only two regular size magazines will fit inside. A spiral notebook will not fit. The drawers for the file folders are sufficient, with a vertical orientation. The middle drawer holds a keyboard with a about 1.5" on either side. It can be adjusted for use as a drawer. The desktop is a good length, but its width is too short. Holds my PC and modem. It has a very small workspace. I am really disappointed. It would be good for a child.

A great build-it-yourself desk.
This is an impressive desk. Very heavy and very stable. The workmanship is impressive. It took a couple of hours to assemble but the directions were crystal clear. Key parts were pre-assembled to insure all the drawers move nicely and without binding in any way. The color is very nice, earth tones with a slight hint of amber. Absolutely worth the cost. I was surprised at how nice it actually is. It is perfect for my needs.

good looking
nice for the price. assembly was relatively simple. i used a cordless drill (flexible bit extension) with the chuck setting fairly delicate. it’s a solid, real wood desk.
