It's easy and clear with nice photos very helpful book

Daughter enjoys maths but found it hard to understand at school so purchased to help her understand maths problems easier.

Helpful book as explains how to do the maths and then has practice questions after.

I am a teacher of functional skills and i bought this book for the new specification. Its absolutely fab, good clear pages, with colourful examples, explanations and diagrams. I have recommended this book to all my students as its a good price and very affordable. Its compact and neat, enabling it to be carried to classes unlike other more heavy, bulky text books. All in all a really good little book, which i highly recommend for anybody studying functional skills maths.

The media could not be loaded. Brought a selection of Maths functional skills books and this one is the most engaging. So well laid out, with colourful pages. This book breakdowns each section in nice simple ways. It shows you 'How' and then gives a practice page, answers in the back of the book.My daughter uses this book alongside others, this is the go to if she needs to understand how to do the working out.Free app code in the book makes this very good value for money.

Just want I needed

Not having done maths since Scottish Higher in 1981, I have decided to polish up my skills and am studying Level 2 Functional Maths as a preparation for GCSE, then A-Level.This little book is very easy to read and dip into and clearly explains the mathematical concepts that I have totally forgotten over the last 40 years.

Some of these topics I would have overlooked so great. A bit busy to look at but does what I need
