it works really well, but still, it has sharp edges in the interior part of the unit (where you actually access your radio's controls) and the round exterior shape of the item makes this borders encounter your fingers everytime you want to push a button, making it not as easily to use as it's desirable to be.

Very cheap came broken not a great install product

Made my stock to aftermarket installation look professional... easy to install... only one issue... when you screw the tabs on the side of the radio... the screw heads stick out just a tad too far... have to add just a little extra pressure/force when pushing the radio unit in all the way. no big deal.

It does not fit with the dashboard! Not only did it stick out, it didn't even fit enough to put on. I bought this for my 2003 Beetle after I installed a new stereo, and ended up just throwing it away.

I have a 1999 beetle this did not fit!!!!

Works great. Bottom edge a little sharp.
