awesome once property installed
First hire an electrician unless you are impatient like me. I just realized as I tossed out the old switch, I was replacing a Leviton switch for a Lutron switch that we use downstairs. We had two switches on either side of the bed and a dimmer by the bedroom door. I needed to replace one of the switches by the bed. I first just swapped out the switch with the wires exactly in the same positions and noticed the other two switches could no longer independently control the lights. I then noticed that the position of the in/out ports were different between the old and new switch because they were different brands. Even though I completely mixing up the wires, the fuse never tripped after switching it back on, the switch just wouldn't work as I wanted. I went ahead and tried different combinations attaching the four wires until one finally worked perfectly turning the fuse off each time of course.

in the dark here
works well. I got the four way hooked up and it works. However if I turn one on by the door it makes the others not work. however if i turn it off at the door the other three work

Excellent switch
Great modern look. The physical click sound is top notch quality.

Thwarted by the meaningless wiring diagram.
Island Guy is 100% right. "Tag the wires" isn't a real wiring instruction. I naively matched the existing switches only to wind up manually tracing paths between junction boxes to get the right wiring when it didn't work. Label the input and output lines or just don't give any instructions at all and let people test the continuity in different switch positions themselves (which would yield better information than what is supplied).

Buy this and not the other cheaper kind
I first bought the Levitron switches saving myself like $2 per switch. 20% of them were bad. So I switched to Lutron and omg it's night and day. They fit flush against the cover, the Levitron looks crooked no matter how I try to align them. The Lutron just fits perfectly and has a much more solid "click" feel and the weighting of the switch makes them feel more quality when you use them. The Levitron feel cheap. I feel like I could replace all of them with the Lutron now.
