V60 "Clear" Glass Range Server, 360ml

This has quickly become my favorite. Paired with 01 size glass cone. Have two sets, can brew multi drip cones at same time limited only by number of sets you have. Each carafe holds enough to fill 16oz coffee mug with a little room for cream or simple syrup. Glass is thin but of excellent quality. Glass lid helps hold in heat and can be poured with lid on if silicone indent is lined up with handle. Great for hosting, also good for making tea with tea bags.

Let's assume you're only interested in a coffee pitcher this small (360 ml) because you want to serve one or possibly two people with a cup of coffee in style. But maybe you've got a nagging feeling that this is a bit impractical and/or frivolous. After all, everyone at the cubicle farm carries around their own trusty mega-sized coffee mug, Dilbert-style. This server wouldn't even fill one of those mugs. So you decide to use this at home, if only to keep from being laughed-at by your pointy-haired boss. And you'll trot this little server out for company, or when you and your mate want to share a special coffee time together. Of course, if you want to serve two people from one vessel, you'll have to give them 8 ounce cups or smaller so you can fill them up more than half way. And if you're trying to duplicate the diner experience by providing each of your guests their own individual server, why buy this when you could use the real thing from a restaurant supply store? Why indeed? Because the real (vintage) restaurant individual server is a cheaper made affair that doesn't even pour without making a mess. Whereas this server is made out of heat resistant glass, with a glass lid that fits snugly (but still allows you to pour), thanks to a removable silicone seal, and a perfect dripless spout that sets the gold standard for dripless spouts. And the whole thing is extremely easy to wash clean by hand or in the dishwasher. And if you want to save your coffee for later, just keep the lid on and put it in the refrigerator. But mainly, when you ask that special someone if they'd like some coffee, and you brew their very own cup and a refill and place this little gem of a server in front of them, you can be certain they will feel special indeed. Even if that someone is just yourself, carving out some well-deserved "me time". Bottom line: this server is a class act. That coffee had better be good.

Hario makes some quality manual coffee brewing equipment, and this V60 Range Server continues in that tradition. The glass lid and accompanying rubber gasket offer a nice touch with the ability to pour from the spout with the lid on. I bought this to use with my AeroPress. While the press doesn't fit directly on top of this Size 1 server, it fits quite nicely using the AeroPress funnel. I also use the Disk - Fine filter from Able Brewing, and the shape of this server helps keep the minute fines at the bottom.

Great product

If you are trying to decide between this server and the one with the plastic handle, go with this one. I own both but this one is easier to clean and has a premium feel/look to it due to it being mostly glass. The rubber stopper on the lid is easy to remove and put back on for cleaning.

This thing is awesome and obviously well made. I was unsure about whether to get this one or the next largest size (650ml I believe). I have a V60 01 and at most can only make two cups at a time with it. If you fill this server to the brim, you can get two regular mugs worth of coffee with your pourover. Only weird thing to me is the lid. It seems to be made to completely seal off the coffee after you've used the V60. I guess if you are making the coffee and then it will sit for a while before being drunk, this makes sense, but on such a small server it seems odd. Perhaps I've totally missed the point of the lid.

It's high quality. Great for two servings, perfect for what I need.

This carafe allows you to watch your tea steep to perfection before transferring to your cup. I saw this used at Upshot Coffee in Cottleville, MO and was determined to find it. Such a perfect presentation. Love love love it.

Wunderschöne Glas Karaffe für den V60 lfilter. Der Deckel passt perfekt und man kann sogar noch ausgießen wenn der Deckel drauf ist. Der V60 Filter sitzt perfekt. Durch die perfekte Bauform ist der Kaffee nach der Zubereitung perfekt zu degustieren. Das Aroma entwickelt sich wunderbar und durch leichtes schwenken des Dekanters auch noch perfekt vermischt. Ich werde nie wieder ohne Brühen. Und die 300ml Größe ist perfekt für eine Tasse Kaffee. Sonst die größere Variante nehmen

4.5 stars. Absolutely lovely material quality and perfect fit for a Hario V60 (switch) filter. My o ly negative feedback is that the rubber gasket around the glass lid makes it a bit fiddly to put in place. When eventually in place, the seal feels good and secure.

Very nice and useful jug. Usual Hario design and details. I mostly use it to decant filter coffee, V60 or with Aeropress. The lid fits great and keeps coffee hot. I preheat it with hot water and it is fine. Don't tell my wife but will probably buy a second one.

This small little server will serve 360ml maximum. I want to reduce my coffee drinking, so this is perfectly suitable for me. My brewing ratio is 18g of coffee to 300ml of water.
