Fender Pure Vintage Blue Amplifier Jewel

The blue looks true to color. I prefer the look of the blue to the red jewel that was original to my amp.

I have a Fender Super Sonic amp and liked the green jewel light. And I mark all my equipment/bags/cases with green duct tape so I can pack out quicker. So I now have this on my 66 PR. Sweet.

I purchased this green jewel for my Fender Hot Rod Deville 4x10 to convert it from evil to good. You see, when I originally purchased the amplifier, it included a red jewel. Red is a color that I immediately associate with all that is evil. When the amplifier was powered on, it was as if an evil, beady little red eye was staring at me from across the stage. As if my stage fright wasn't bad enough, now I had this increased, overwhelming feeling of paranoia and dread as the amplifier glared at me, mocked me, and plotted against me. Something had to be done. I ordered this green jewel in desperate effort to rid the amplifier of the evils evoked by the red jewel. I am so glad I did this! I noticed an immediate change in the amplifier's persona. No longer do I feel that the amplifier is working against me. Rather, I feel that the amplifier is among the best of friends, compelling me to rock. I am no longer threatened by the menacing red eye across stage. I now have a supportive buddy across stage that I can look to for encouragement in times of need, and in those times, the amplifier will look back with that comforting green gaze, give a li'l green wink, and say to me: "Go ahead, Mike. Tell 'em 'bout it. Hit 'em where it hurts." A very well-made product. Close to Fender original, and the screw threads match perfectly. It was fairly priced and arrived in two days.

This is made by Fender, not generic, hence triple the usual price. This is the blue jewel found on the silverface deluxe reverb 68' reissues and some other Fender amps. I tried a few generic blue ones before this and they looked almost white with hints of blue, just didn't look good at all. This is the best blue one, hands down. Yeah, it's 10 bucks instead of 3, but if it's authenticity and quality you're looking for, it's well worth it.

I had an old Fender Bassman Ten amplifier that had a burnt out jewel. This was a drop in easy replacement that got the amp glowing red again when I switched it in

Bought this to swap out my existing red jewel that came with the amp. Installed a new bulb and screwed the replacement on. Fired the amp up and was happy with the new green glow. My old bulb was dead for about 2 years. Finally got around to restoring it and couldn't be any happier. For about 20 bucks total between the jewel and bulb im happy.
