Great product! Works great! Love the app!
This is awesome! Temperature is accurate within a degree or two (Fahrenheit). Set up was straight forward with the app but the thermometer can also be used without the app! The app is awesome as you can set low and high temp alarms for smoking if you want to keep temp in a small window. Alarm sounds off on both your phone and the device (very easy to silence). Great value and it is so nice for grilling/smoking!

Absolutely Outstanding Product & Even Better Customer Service
couldn’t be happier with my BFOUR Wireless Bluetooth Meat Thermometer. From the moment I opened the box, I could tell this was a well-designed, high-quality tool. The probes are sturdy and accurate, and the Bluetooth connection is rock solid even when I’m inside the house and the smoker is running outside. The app interface is clean, easy to understand, and packed with useful features like preset temps, custom alarms, and real-time tracking. Every piece of meat I’ve cooked with it steaks, brisket, ribs, and chicken has come out perfectly cooked. But what really sets BFOUR apart is their customer service. It’s rare these days to find a company that truly stands behind its products, but BFOUR does. When I had a minor question about one of the probes, their support team responded quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. They walked me through everything and made sure I was completely satisfied. Plus, their warranty support is top-notch fast, hassle free, and honestly one of the best I’ve experienced with any kitchen or grilling product. If you want a reliable, accurate, easy-to-use thermometer backed by a company that actually puts their customers first, this is the one. I’d give it more than five stars if I could.

Works well
I've used this at least ten times now and have it working well. I usually set at least one probe on a shelf to monitor temperature. I've found them accurate within 2-3° of what my smoker is reading and it helps in the event the smoker temp drops and needs more fuel. Meat tells are very accurate.

Better Than Many Are Saying
OK, Here's the scoop... Many of the reviews fuss about the apps requirement for "FULL TIME LOCATION" permission. I agree, that is pretty sketchy. The app will not link to your thermometer at all until you give it FULL TIME location permission. However, once it links for the first time, You can open your app settings and DENY location and the app connects anyway without it. It still throws up the dialog saying it needs permission, but boots up and the dialog disappears at startup. WARNING: I went a bit further into the app settings and found that it also defaults to "Allowed To Use Cell Data In Background"...I also turned that one OFF and the app works great. Why that was there to begin with? All I can say is China is watching??? Beyond the initial questioning of possible security issues if installed "as-is", the thing works great. The manufacturer must have improved on its product because it did not ask me for PIN number as many have mentioned in reviews. The instruction booklet has a statement that says : "If your phone keep ask you pin number, please turn off your Bluetooth and open our Grill 5.0 APP, try to connect your thermometer again while your phone's Bluetooth and GPS is on." It says at the TOP of the same page: "Please contact your thermometer with our Grille 5.0 APP. Do not connect your device directly through your Bluetooth. So, FOLLOWING the instructions provided seems to be the key here. The APP works well. Didn't have any issues on first use. Setting temperatures and alarms is pretty straight forward. Just go exploring in the APP to familiarize yourself with what all is available. Some instructions and screen shots come in the instruction booklet, but they don't show everything. I did have a bit of an issue getting the device to show temperatures in Fahrenheit. The instruction booklet makes only BRIEF mention of this by showing the "Temperature" icon and describing it as " °C/°F change and alarm setting". When I clicked the option in the APP, the APP immediately changed from C to F. However, the device continued to display Celsius. After fiddling with it for about 5 minutes, I finally turned off both the APP and the device, Started the APP FIRST, then turned the device on and the device then switched over to Fahrenheit. I have turned both of them back off and on again several times and they are REMAINING on Fahrenheit. So, it looks like it will stay there until you change it back in the APP (Good news for me). ACCURACY: The probes are all within 2 deg. of each other (highest to lowest) when laying side-by-side on the table for several minutes. My wife had an issue with them not reading EXACTLY the same. But, I feel that if 2 degrees is going to make a difference whether you burn a piece of meat, you are WAY too picky!!! I cooked some steak on the "Medium Well" setting and they came out with just a tiny bit of pink in the middle...just the way I like mine! I used my trusty old one-channel thermometer to probe one of the steaks next to one of the new ones. They were within about 4 Deg. of each other for the duration. At times, they were reading exactly the same. So, I have determined that I can pretty much trust this unit to get my meat done to my satisfaction without burning it. After all, is that not the whole point? In conclusion, I love having several probes so I can cook different things on the grille at the same time and watch each of them individually. I agree with other reviews that the requirement for location permissions (and cell phone data use) is not a good thing, but both of these can be turned off without any functional detriment once the phone has made initial contact with the device. The thermometer works perfectly. The accuracy seems very good. The APP is fairly easy to figure out how to use, and I believe this to be a really good value for the price.

Testing On Frozen Durian But Buying This Thermometer For Thanksgiving Turkey
We're buying this thermometer in order to cook Turkey for Thanksgiving. In order to make sure it works, we opted to test on something. Coincidentally we're in the process of defrosting a frozen durian (King of Fruit) so we figure why not. Kinda catchy and unique. This thermometer is very easy to use. We popped 3 AAA batteries, hooked the probes and turn the machine on and walla (voilà) it worked. The default unit of measurement on the unit is C (centigrade) and we couldn't find any button to switch the setting to Fahrenheit, so we install the app, which only took a few seconds to connect via bluetooth. Using the app we could change the unit of measurement to Fahrenheit. We didn't test the distance of the BT reception but for our purpose we don't need more than 100 feet of distance. We poke the probe on the durian and it appears the internal reading is still below room temperature so it is not fully thawed yet. Anyways, this thermometer is strictly for hot items. The minimum reading is 1 degree C or 34 def F, so you will not be able to test on frozen ice cream for example. The unit we bought came with 2 probes but it has slots for up to 6, although we're not sure why would you need 6 probes on a Turkey. The probe wire is long enough to enable the unit to be place on the counter outside of the oven. So far we're happy with the purchase. It is reasonably priced. The real test would be Thanksgiving Turkey in about a week or so. We'll let you know how it goes.

Single worst thing I’ve ever owned.
This is the single worst thing I’ve ever owned. I ended up hating everything about it — from the app to the build quality. Here’s my take: 1. App – Terrible. I had to restart my phone multiple times because if I missed the pop-up to silence it, the alarm would keep blaring in the background even after I closed the app. The alarm also goes off every time the phone disconnects from the device. 2. Connection – Slow to connect, quick to disconnect. 3. Probes – 3 out of 6 quit after the first use and started showing random numbers. The other 3 lasted maybe four more uses. I only run my smoker at ~200°F, so it wasn’t even under extreme heat. 4. Device – I had to remove the batteries every time I put it away because it would stay on and make random noises. I finally gave up when my last probe burned out in a ceramic grill. Yes, I subjected it to higher heat this time, secretly hoping it would give up. Within 2 minutes the alarm was screaming that my ribeye steak was already at 200°F internal. Tossing it in the trash would’ve been satisfying—except I forgot to take the batteries out. Ten minutes later it started making noise from inside the trash, so I had to fish it back out and destroy it properly.

Essential & Best Value Option For Smoking, Roasting, Air Frying, & More
Pros: -Best value for the money -Accurate -Easy to use -Lots of applications (smoker, oven, air frier, baking, chilling, etc.) -App works great on iPhone -Comes with 2 probes and air harness for smoker -6(!) total probe ports -Super convenient and makes cooking a breeze -Relay unit has a digital face and beeper, flexibility to use without app Cons: -No case for unit and probes, although probes do have a little wrap around plastic piece so they don't get tangled I got this bluetooth thermometer after using a family member's at a cookout they hosted. They had the Weber version. I love cooking and cook 5-6 days out of the week, everything from regular dinners, to fun roasts, grilled steaks, and smoking expensive cuts of meat. But even if you're a novice foodie who just enjoys the occasional smoked brisket or holiday roast, you know you don't want to spend hours of time and lots of $$$ just to have your meal ruined by overcooking or even undercooking the food. This probe offers the reassurance that makes cooking even the most expensive and time consuming meals easy! You don't need to keep opening up your smoker, grill, or oven and checking manually 10 times during a cook, you just kind of set it and forget it. It's a product that makes you love technology! The app is super intuitive and the probe / relay unit works like a charm. Nice thing is you also don't need to use the app outside of setting the temperature if you're inside or within earshot, the relay unit has a nice digital face and a very loud beeper when your food has reached temperature, which most other products don't have. It comes with 2 probes, which is awesome since most other brands only offer 1, and the relay also has 6 probe ports! I don't know what in the world you'd ever need 6 thermometers going at once for, other than maybe 6 steaks on the grill, but even the Weber version only had 4 ports and 1 probe included, unless you pay even more for a more expensive version of their already overpriced product. You do need to turn the sound on your phone on for this though if you're stepping out of earshot, or at least go into the settings of your phone to grant access for the app to ring through the silent mode, so that you can hear the alarm go off. It's also fairly accurate, I have 3 other instant read thermometers and this is within +/-0.5º F of them. I've used this in everything from an air frier, to my convection oven, to a smoker, and even used it to monitor dough when I was making croissants and needed to keep my dough/butter sheet at the perfect temperature, or when I let dough rise and don't want the space I leave it in to get over 80º F. Anyway, I'd highly recommend this product. Other, more known brands are as much as 4X the cost, don't come with more than 1 probe, meaning more money, have limited probe ports, and don't even have a digital face on the relay unit, meaning you HAVE to use the app on your phone and buy other thermometers to use otherwise. Beyond that, the customer service has been stellar! I damaged one of the probes and reached out to BFour directly, and, after I sent them a picture of the probe not working, they sent me TWO new probes without question. I didn't expect that nor did I think they needed to send me anything, I was just hoping they could make a recommendation as to how to repair the probe. Would highly recommend this to anyone for yourself or as an awesome gift!

Doesn't last
It was a pretty good thermometer but only lasted 6 months. Now one of the probes registers at over 300 degrees in any of the probe ports, and the other probe says cold water is 105 degrees. The unit is plastic and the stand broke the first time I changed the batteries.
