Great product and great price. Only an idiot couldn't fit this to their mouth.
After getting this mouthpiece and fitting it, and THEN reading all the reviews, I have come to the conclusion that people can be kind of dumb. How could someone NOT mold this following the directions? How could someone have a sloppy gob of goo? Oh, that's right, you're DUMB. Instructions are pretty darn simple:1) Boil for 10 seconds2) Dip in cold water for 2 seconds3) Fit to teeth, bite down and suck in air. Use tongue to fit to top of mouthHow tough is that? I mean SERIOUSLY.... And how can you trash something that costs less than three bucks? Shipping costs more than that, and I didn't pay for shipping. I had NO TROUBLE fitting. In fact, just as a test, I did it TWICE. It is a PERFECT fit. I did not have to trim mine at all, but I was prepared to in case it didn't fit. I simply followed the DIRECTIONS. Can you count to TEN? Can you use a utility knife to trim a bit of rubber? If you can, then you can fit this thing to your mouth/teeth. If you can't count to ten or boil water, then you will probably struggle. Of course, in that case you're probably struggling with a lot more in life than fitting a mouth piece. It does form fit my entire mouth, it DOES protect bottom teeth as well, my lower teeth are covered, and it is not uncomfortable. Sucking in air and pressing your tongue up gives an even BETTER fit. After price checking against similar products, I would HIGHLY recommend this mouth guard.

Great product and SO INEXPENSIVE!
I've used many other types of mouth guards for grinding my teeth at night. I've used mouth guards for about 15 years. I did have to drop this one in the boiling water several times... definitely had to cut some of the back end off, and shape the top a little so it wasn't so tall. BUT... I have to say, once I finished (it took about 10 mins at most), I'm left with one of the most comfortable mouth guards I've ever used. I bought two when I bought this one. They tend to yellow after about 6 months... even though I brush them with a toothbrush each day. So then I get a new one. I'd definitely buy this one again... and it was SO CHEAP! If you go to the sports stores... I haven't found one that sells this type anymore... only mouth guards that run $10.00 and up... and not nearly as comfortable. It's a keeper!!!

Disappointed
Cutting it to fit my mouth was like pulling teeth. Very uncomfortable and thick material. Once trimmed, boiled and cooled it was a worthless blob not worthy of one starJust glad it didn't cost much.

good for the price
the mouthpiece is good for the price, I ordered two, I had to cut the backs to make them fit since I have a small mouth, and they are easy and quick to mold, they will fit anyone if you need to you can cut them to fit, they are markers on them for cutting them down to a smaller size. they fit pretty good after being molded, they are clear, and they are sturdy, and I use these in my mma classes. I have a few other mouth pieces that I also bought as well, and they are all about the same, I am going to invest in some more expensive ones and see how those compare, if they are better than these or not and I will update this then... however I would recommend this, they work very well and are pretty comfortable .

Hard to mold correctly
I have used other mouthguards that are much easier to mold to my teeth. These are so formed that a slight misplacement in your mouth while fitting and they are ruined.

If you grind your teeth at night, these are essential
If you grind your teeth at night, these are essential and the price is a bargain compared to what you'll pay if you ask you dentist to make you a bite guard. One thing I will mention. When you make your impression, you need to bite down, but if you do it with all your strength you'll hit bottom. That's not good because you don't want your top teeth to touch your bottom teeth. When a person grinds, there needs to be some possibility for motion of the jaw -- that's why the bite guards you get from your dentist have a smooth bottom, so the jaw can move back and forth. This is not a defect in the material -- I'm using these Everlast bite guards for at least 6 years and I'll continue to order them. Rather, you have to be practiced in the technique of making them. I would order an extra 2 or 3 and expect your first attempt at making an impression will be for the trash. They're affordable -- and they're really worth a million compared to the damage of grinding your teeth down to stubs.

Meh, you get what you pay for
I wanted something to help me with my night time grinding, since I bite my cheeks and such until I wake myself up. I was super excited to get the product so I boiled it like the directions said and then sucked it to help form fit my mouth, when that happened my mouth started to bleed, so maybe I was doing it too hard, turns out it is way to big for my mouth, it has a big gap from it to my teeth and I had to cut it, but there was no winning this battle because even after cutting it, it still slipped from my mouth and I ended up tossing it. It was only 5 dollars so I didn't expect it to be the best, but I was hoping it would get me through more than an hour. I've had several sport ones in the past and I've used them for both kickboxing and sleeping, but over time things do wear out I figured everlast is a great brand what could go wrong, but then again..
