Tecnifibre X-One Biphase (16-1.30mm) String Set (Natural)

Great balance of power and control. I use them on a Wilson Blade 104 v8 @ 50 lbs. Restring when they start to fray.

This string is great and provides a lot of feel and control. I typically string my rackets between 52-55 lbs and play tennis 3-5 times per week. Durability is great too.

This string provides an excellent level of comfort and feel. I presently play with a head prestige 2.0. A hybrid set is what works for me. So, I would utilize the technifibre in the crosses and luxilon alu power in the mains. My comfort, feel and control is fantastic.

Really like this string but it didn’t last long with Babolat RPM. Will need to use it in another hybrid set up 😆

I recently tried the Tecnifibre X-One Biphase tennis string, and while it had some positive qualities, overall, it fell short of my expectations. The string provided moderate power but didn't deliver the level of power I had anticipated. Additionally, the spin performance was underwhelming, and the high price point was hard to overlook. As a result, I ended up switching to the Super Smash Orange poly string, which proved to be a better fit for my needs. Let's start with the positive aspects. The Tecnifibre X-One Biphase string did provide a decent level of power, but it didn't quite meet my expectations in this regard. I had hoped for a string that would offer more pop and explosiveness off the racquet, but the power level fell somewhat short. While it still provided sufficient power, it didn't provide the extra boost I was looking for to enhance my shots and take strain off my arm. In terms of spin, the Tecnifibre X-One Biphase string didn't perform as well as I had hoped. I found that generating spin was more challenging compared to other strings I have used in the past. As a player who relies on spin for control and maneuverability, this was a significant drawback. I struggled to get the ball to bite and spin effectively, which impacted my overall performance on the court. One of the key drawbacks of the Tecnifibre X-One Biphase string was its high price. Compared to other tennis strings on the market, this string is notably expensive. While premium quality often comes with a higher price tag, the overall performance and features of the X-One Biphase didn't justify the added cost for me personally. It made it difficult for me to justify sticking with this string, especially considering the areas where it fell short. As an alternative, I switched to the Super Smash Orange poly string, which proved to be a better fit for my needs. With this poly, I use a lower tension of 42lbs and which provided an equally arm-friendly experience. Additionally, the Super Smash Orange string offered improved spin potential, allowing me to generate more rotation on the ball and gain better control. Furthermore, the lower price of the Super Smash Orange string made it an appealing choice, providing a great deal in terms of performance and cost-effectiveness. In conclusion, while the Tecnifibre X-One Biphase tennis string had its positive aspects, it didn't fully meet my expectations in terms of power and spin performance. Consequently, I made the switch to the Super Smash Orange poly string, which provided a more satisfying experience in terms of spin and value for money - while being equally arm friendly. All that said - for really flat hitters, the bi-phase still may be a decent option.

Only lasted four hours play time while the ones I bought at local store lasted 3 months
