Blade not very sharp and the plastic/ rubber part of the handles fall off easily
Blade mot very sharp so its hard to cut wires and the rubber part of the handles will not stay on .They work ok as long as you don'tnt mind these 2 things

Decent Scotchlok Crimpers
These are decent Scotchlok crimpers that get the job done. They spring open, which is kind of nice. Crimps to the proper depth for a solid connection. Only complaint is that the rubber on the handles are thin and tend to slide off easily.

Exactly what I needed!
I was using and pliers that were handy, so it took a couple of presses from different angles to get these seated properly. Now it's one squeeze and done. Perfect!

It crimps scotchlocks
These crimpers do crimp the Scotch locks. You have to squeeze the handles harder than I would like to to make the crimp. The cutters crimp and cut and leave a frayed end on the insulation of wire making it difficult to insert into the scotch locks. I ended up using a different type of nipper for cutting the wires and not the ones that come with the pliers. You get what you're paying for and not much more. I would return these pliers but I have such a small job 400 to 500 scotchlocks.
