Let my people go surfing is a book presenting the story of Patagonia, multi-million dollar american clothing company that markets sustainable outdoor clothing and apparel. Founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1973 and ever since the beginning, it has held ethical and environmental issues close to its core. It's a great case study for anyone who wants to know more about creating a sustainable business - for the environment, for employees and the customers.

There is so much to the world and environment than it meets our eye. YC has no qualms about calling a spade a spade and showing us what individuals, communities and organisations overall are supposed to strive towards!

This has entered my list of books to recommend to the best of my friends and people I love and care about.

I am still not in that phase of my life to love this book. I wish I was. I would recommend the book to all the people who think adventure can't fetch cash!

Absolutely loved this - the balance of commercial success with the empathy for people and planet was a pleasure to discover. Not just a business book, as intertwined with the authors love of the outdoors. Left me considering seriously what is truly sustainable growth, and how organisations can truly balance results across a spectrum of financial, ethical and human KPIs.

Una meravigliosa scoperta, un libro che avrei voluto conoscere prima. Personalmente ho trovato un po' pesante la prima parte più narrativa mentre la seconda parte riguardante le filosofie aziendali è davvero interessante con spunti di riflessione ad ogni angolo. Consigliato al 100% per chiunque ami la natura e gli sport.
