Better for hammering chrome coated pins on track hoe buckets and such. For those wondering, "soft" is misleading. It's not soft at all. It will eventually deform as opposed to chip and is less likely to damage what you're bashing. I was torn between this one and the Groz. Same handle technology, which is great... stout, low vibrations, feels great in hand. Slightly different heads. To be honest, I needed a 4 pounder quick (my $20 DeWalt head came off) and the Wilton was available overnight... free on my Prime. The Groz would have taken several days. It is a great tool and worth the money. I recommend the soft face, unless you're just doing straight demolition. Which I believe it would be fine for that as well.
