Mountain Mist Fiberfill, 12 Ounces

I spend a good deal of my evenings in front of the television crocheting toys, ornaments and other items that require filling. I use pure cotton fibres to create my toys and was looking for an all natural way to fill them instead of using the polyester fiberfill types. I can not tell you how amazing this product is. It is processed from all natural renewable corn fibers. This is very important to me as I want to be sure that I am reducing my own footprint on this world. The Mountain Mist fiberfill works exactly as the originally polyester kind, except the Mountain Mist product is a bit softer and fills every nook and cranny beautifully and is also is washable. This product is only a few dollars more than the typical polyester brand and is worth every penny of it. I do hope all you crafters out there give it a try, its a really good product!

When I wanted to but more of this stuffing, it was no longer available. So sad so I had to find another brand, which I like just as well.

Love that it is plant derived, better for our environment. I use it to stuff crochet toys. UPDATE: I originally gave 5 stars but, the toys I made with this product would squish down without this fiberfill bouncing back as it should. Because of this, I had to switch back to traditional recycled plastic derived polyfil. I really wanted to love this product but sadly cannot.

The item I purchased (and was shown) was Eco-Craft PLA Fiber for its Eco-friendly qualities. I did NOT want polyester (fossil fuel based) which is exactly what I received. Be aware the seller might pull a bait-and-switch. I have requested a return and re-ship of the product shown. I will change my review if I get the product advertised. Otherwise I can go to a local store and get the exact polyester product for $6 instead of the $22+ price tag.

I don't think I realized how big of a bad 12 ounces would be, so it was a great deal for the price. I don't have experience with any other fiberfill so I don't know how it compares, but it seems like good quality and does its job.

Clean, light and fluffy. Worked beautifully to fill my little pin pillow!

A little more expensive that poly fill. However it worked fine.
