SO Simple to Set up for this MIDI Newbie - and on an OLD Clavinova, to boot
"All" I wanted to do was use some MIDI-requiring software to help learn piano. For that, I needed my 30+ yr old Clavinova-560 to communicate with my Samsung Galaxy A9+ Tablet. The Clavinova instruction book made it sound so intimidating -- but this Interface/Adapter made light work of the project. Follow its instruction card (included) carefully, plug in the 2 Midi Connectors to back of keyboard, plug the C cable to the Samsung -- the correct lights showed up on the MIDI device, and suddenly I was in business! Connecting this was easy -- the cables attached easily, this unit was compatible both with the website's programs and my tech devices. It functioned exactly as it should, seems durable, and I did NOT notice any latency! All for under $20 -- awesome!

Works great for piano tutorial apps and helpful support
I use this to connect my keyboard to an iPad wirelessly to use with various piano tutorial apps. It works very well. The apps were able to find and connect to the midi adapter with no problems. I emailed the support email to ask some questions, and they were very responsive and responded with helpful instructions. Note that the adapter may not appear in the IOS settings bluetooth device list, but the actual midi-enabled music apps were able to see it and connect.

Works Great on my Android Tablets
I just received it, and it works great. I purchased it primarily to connect my old Yamaha digital piano and my Synth keyboard to my android tablet(s) so that I can complete a piano course (software based). I connected the MIDI DINs to the keyboard, plugged USB C into the tablet and without any prompts, installs, drivers, it worked perfectly. I also plan on using it with my laptops and mini-Apple computer. But for now, super happy that it worked so effortlessly!!!! There does seem to be a bit of latency but have no idea if is the FORE T1 interface or cheap Android tablets I tested.

Great interface that works flawlessly. Glad I bought one!
Perfect! Works great! I have three older types of this midi interface. This is the only one that worked perfectly out of the box. It's resurrecting my old Roland PC-200 midi controller. It works flawlessly. So glad I got this at the convenient price and now I don't have to get a new controller. It connected up and was active in seconds. Would recommend!

Worked with Casio keyboard to Ubuntu laptop
This works well connecting a Casio ctk-496 to MuseScore Studio running on an Ubuntu Dell Inspiron laptop. The midi cables are labeled "in" and "out", just remember to connect them to "out" and "in" on your keyboard. Configure within the MuseScore software. There are YouTube videos out there that show how. Easy-peasy.

Device short lived but seller graciously stands by it's customers and products
Review on 11/2024 We purchased this for the music program at our church, in order to run a midi Lowry organ through a laptop. We received it in August and it worked absolutely GREAT. I recommend reading and holding onto the installation cards and Customer service cards that came with the device, and following the directions exactly. We had music for services and rehearsals every week since installing it. But then in November it stopped working altogether. We reattached everything as directed. We tried different USB ports and a different laptop altogether. We even uninstalled the software that controlled the midi files thinking it might help but nothing. After some research, this is common apparently with these devices. Reached out to customer service and they reached out to us and helped us troubleshoot problem. Turns out the device may have had a malfunction. Seller graciously apologized for any issues and is resending a new device at no charge. We depend on the organ and the connection for our services. I guess if your looking for something short term this is great, but would recommend a backup if you depend solely on the device. Technology is what it is. Update: 10/23/2025 Device stopped working. Lasted almost a year, using 2 times a week every week. Not a bad investment for short term use. Recommend something more permanent for regular long term use. Seller is trustworthy and appreciates his customers. Thank you!
