Build a museum quality replica model of the Washington Monument over 22 inches tall. This kit is intended for persons with patience and manual dexterity. It requires glueing approximately 4,500 small (5x5x10mm) ceramic bricks. For best results sanding is recommended to get a smooth surface. Tools are not required but highly recommended. Suggested tools: Small pliers and sand paper (not included). The model does not require painting. The pictures depict the model without any paint. Includes: Wood base Die cut cardboard base and structure White Glue Detailed graphic instructions Approx. 3,000 ceramic bricks Approx. 1,500 ceramic tiles 50 flags with metallic poles Top metallic pyramid Decorative grass Aedes Ars building sets are used for the scale reproduction of some historical monuments with a high cultural value, such as castles, churches, bridges, and lighthouses, some of them catalogued as World Heritage Sites, as well as miniature buildings of diverse typical country constructions. The materials used look like the original materials and the pieces quality is based on the company's own production processes. Constructions should be modelled over a wooden base and from a previously cut out and assembled numbered cardboard structure. These figures are carefully assembled aided by cardboard strip angles, which make the modelling easier. Over the cardboard structure are built the walls and the roofs. For an accurate result it is recommended to smooth down some of the different pieces with sandpaper as well as all the walls once the model is finished, achieving a more attractive and realistic result. Ceramic stones are the most abundant material on most kits. They're fired at the appropriate temperature, so the stones can be easily sanded and fitted perfectly between them.

Spare pieces or parts.
I would like to know how to get spare stones and pieces for this kit. I asked once before for spare pieces or parts nobody seemed to have the time or inclination to get back to me.

Half the kit was missing
We ordered this for a school project for our daughter, but when it arrived, the bags with the small pieces inside were open so the small pieces were scattered throughout. Also essential components of the kit were missing including the flags and the instructions. It seems like we were sent a used/returned product that wasn't complete (bottom of box was taped). Extremely disappointing, especially at the price point.

Nice for what it is
Ordered this while looking for LEGO sets for my boys. Obviously didn’t click and read the details, because it’s definitely something very different. Very nice for what it is though. It’s going to look very nice once it’s completed.
