Meinl Cymbals E-Drum Rug for Electronic Kits-Includes Bag and Quick Set Markers (MDR-E)

I must say that this rug does indeed do its job. I have a FD-8 hi-hat foot pedal, a KD-7 kick-drum (old stuff, I know). However, as stated earlier, the rug does its job --- these two items that moved -- now do not move.I bought the rug only about 2 to 3 weeks ago. So, 'we' shall see about durability. I will not be taking the drums or the rug anywhere. However, if I was playing out, this rug (and the included bag would be valued accessories to be brought to the job.

Not a good purchase, I picked this up for my E kit, when it arrived, it is in a nylon carrying bag and looked very promising, I placed it on the floor, this rug is extreamly flimsy and thin, it is not a good option for pedal spikes or kick drum spurs, but my biggest issue with this mat is, it has ZERO grip on the back side, if you antisapate using it on any hard surface, don't bother, it is like ice and it slips under you, when I got up from my drum throne, the rug sliped underneath me and bunches up like a thin peace of felt. I ended up returning it and purchasing a DW rug, it was doble the price, but much better quality, hope this helps, good luck.
