My primary purpose of a using a vacuum cleaner at home is to clean 3 cars, 5 beds and a 7-seater sofa. Occasionally, we also use this to clean corners of the home that our mopping robot and our maid miss out. Of late, I was beginning to feel that our current decade-old, albeit still-functional Eureka Forbes Wet & Dry (the blue one, that's got a solid blower too) was taking a lot of time and seemed inefficient at cleaning 100%, so I was looking out for literally the vacuum cleaner with the most powerful suction. And I found it in this one. I was on the lookout for a real vacuum cleaner – something that could really create vacuum, not just half-heartedly try to suck in air. I'd shortlisted the Bosch industrial one, the new Eureka Forbes Wet & Dry, the wet & dry one from Agaro, and also the 1600w one from American Micronics. I got an opportunity to use this same 2200w model, which my friend had purchased about a year ago, and I was very impressed by its suction power. I was concerned about the missing retractable power cord from my friend's older model, but I was happily surprised when I received my package with a retractable power cord, I couldn't have asked for more. Of course, the wet suction and blower functions are missing, but frankly, that's not something I use often. My main purpose was that of vacuuming, and this American Micronics machine has highly impressed me. I feel that it is fully worth the investment for what I intend to do with this. If you're looking at wet cleaning upholstery or carpets of either your car or your home, then you need a powerful carpet extractor, not a wet vacuum cleaner. If plain ol' nearly industrial-strength vacuuming is what you're looking for, you can definitely buy this one without thinking twice.

Review after using for first time. Pros : 1. Very powerful suction. I was able to clean sofas very easily. 2. Adjustable power. I was able to get all the work done in medium power, and used max power for the tough spots. 3. Telescopic pipe means that you do not have to attach/detach pipes when you want to increase length. The length can be increased/decreased at the press of a button. This is very useful. 4. The motor is not too loud. Loudness depends on the power you are using at. 5. Lightweight. It has plastic body which makes it easy to carry from one room to another by a single individual. 6. Wire length is 5 metres. ( I measured). It is sufficient for size of Indian homes. 7. Overheating : Used it for around 1 hour with breaks of a minute or two every 10 minutes. Did not face problem of overheating. I would not recommend using at max power for more than 5 minutes. Every machine has limits. 8. Dust bags : Seems washable, thought not sure. Comes with 1 dust bag. 9. Attachments : comes with following attachments - telescopic pipe, upholstery brush, floor/carpet brush, crevice nozzle and regular brush. Cons : 1. Manual is not sufficient. It is hardly 3 pages of document. It does not provide any information on maintainance of the machine, or how to clean the filters, etc. 2. Storage : I was expecting a clip using which attachments can be attached to the main body for storage. I couldn't find any. EDIT : Found it later. It is on the floor/carpet attachment. 3. No blower or wet vaccuming possible.

WORST QUALITY

It is a very powerful vacuum and has good suction power. It came with only two attachments which limits the use cases to only carpet and floor cleaning. Cannot be used for accessing crevices, car interiors, etc.

Wow amazing, No words to say. Great great suction power, haven't seen such a powerful vacuum cleaner. He eats everything even if I bring it near mobile charger, card reader he sucks and swallows even... :-) :-) (any way u can adjust the power according to your needs) By looks he looks like a car body paint, it's made of high quality plastic & and the extension pipes are made of metal. The only drawback is drinking is injurious to his health & he can't blow air(only dry cleaning wet cleaning is not possible & also blower function is not there) but anyway wet cleaning is just a gimmick of sale it won't suck water completely from floor.... And also the main point of using vacuum cleaner is to clean the dust without spreading the dust, so using blower is point less. Finally for day to day use only vaccum clear will be useful. So buy a vaccum clear with high sucking power. (This is the only vaccum with high sucking power so go for it) Extension pipe is little small in length if you need you but additional extension pipe to extend (if needed). Which can be bought buy calling to the customer care to place and send the order or else you can also buy in from offline shop with correct diameter of the pipe. His stomach can be cleaned (Dust bag is washable & reusable) Overall all excellent. Edit: after 3 year of rough use. It's like a brand new condition you can go for this.

Really this small devil is enough good for house or office. The only thing is the extension rod is not that much length so i have placed an order with that respective company and it will cost around Rs 450/- Apart from that this is really a good product with great sucking power with lot of attachments. Dust bag is washable and there is hepa filter too. You can get all the accessories from the American Micronic direct seller. At American Micronic customer support Mr.Alok is the person picking the phone a superb support from that nice gentlemen. So no need to worry go a head. Buy confidently.
