I have Merrel work boots MOAB, and like the wider boots. These are great for trail and yard work. These are my preferred walking shoe as well. Better than tennis shoes.

These seem like very solid, well made shoes and the fit is perfect. I did add insoles due to issues with my feet. I wear these very day and have also done some hiking in them with good results. I will definitely be buying these again.
