This chocolate had a fantastic fruity hint to it. It was very smooth. Dipping pretzels and cookies in this was great!

I’m so impressed by this chocolate. It has the silky smoothness of milk chocolate but has a body like nothing else in the world. When you first put it in your mouth it’s like their white chocolate, then it starts to melt and is smooth like milk chocolate then you get the delicate fruity notes like cherry or raspberry which lingers in your mouth for several minutes after, then goes back to the rich chocolate taste again! Wow! I can’t wait to start creating fudge, truffles, and candy; this is quite the treat! I’ve combined raspberries or cherries in with the chocolate before but now this is a game changer. Look you need to love berries and chocolate together to truly enjoy this Ruby chocolate. And yes it’s a pinkish color not Ruby or dark red in this chocolate form and really it has a bit of a dusty rose color to it. so if you’re looking to make chocolate decorations on a wedding cake this is a perfect rose color and you will not need any coloring; natural! Packaging was good; nothing broke, melted or damaged in anyway. Shipping was an issue! It took 4 weeks to get here and it wasn’t available in the 5.5lb I ordered. They had plenty just not in the size, so they emailed and asked if they could substitute. Frankly I don’t consider the size of container being a “substitution” as long as you get at least amount you ordered. To me substitution is replacing one chocolate like Ruby for white ... now that’s a substitution; still chocolate but not the same! Very fresh too and in resealable and freezable bags.

I have to say it was not the best idea to order during the late summer,(which I normally avoid) but I was really excited to try this chocolate. We had a burst of 87 degree heat and I knew it was going to be ruined. When the box arrived the chocolate was inside a thermal package with 4 cold packs under and on top of the chocolate. Because of the steps taken by the shipper, my chocolate survived with just a few of the pieces softened from heat. Thank you! The taste is really nice. A little tangy like a very subtle yogurt. A slight fruit flavor and a hint of white cocoa. Basically I thought it tasted like a creamy tangy white chocolate with just a brief hint of cocoa butter. Will make the best mousse or holiday candies. Enjoy!

I ordered this to make goodies for valentines day and it didn't get here on time to make that happen. The seller was able to explain the shipping issue and tariffs to me, so I just got caught in an awkward time when I ordered this. However, when it arrived and I did make treats with this, people lost their minds. A friend tried to take a whole tray to themselves instead of sharing with the group. My roommate snuck into the fridge and took some at night after trying the first batch of good ones and the mistakes, and began haunting the kitchen for a while. Coworkers who played disinterested later apparently devoured what I brought within minutes, and tracked me through the office just to tell me I needed to make more. I shared with a date and said they would love extra to take home to their mother, and wanted me to write down the recipe then and there in the parking lot, but I legit just used allrecipes/google and this specific chocolate. I showed them this page as well, thinking they'd calm down a little as they thought I was hiding something from them, or had bought the treats pre-made somewhere and was holding out. You would think it was flattering how hounded I got over this..so I mean, this chocolate is good! Very good! I just also happened to decide around this time that I felt better taking a lil break from all the baking madness, and months later that's still true. This was expensive chocolate and with the tariffs I'm sure it's not gonna get any easier. I'll always remember how delicious it was, and how crazy my loved ones got over this. Edit December 2025: I've bought this 3 times now, I couldn't stay away!
