Do the new bose surround 700 speakers work for these stands?

Yes, I have the new Bose 700 speakers and they fit these stands.

Do I need the additional bracket or do the Bose 700's mount directly to the stand?

I could not get the 700 speaker to connect to the floor stand, no sound! The speakers connect to the base for shelf mount included with the speaker. Great sound! The floor stands are very expensive and after trying 2 sets I still had problems. Amazon was great about the return on both and gave me a full refund. Yes the speakers do mount to the stands, everything is included with the stands. Good luck getting sound once you have the 700 speakers mounted to the stands.

Are there replacement omnijewel base connectors available? One of mine is defective and I would like to buy a replacement.

That is the problem! I had 2 sets of floor stands and only one stand connected. The other 3 did not! Amazon was great about the return and refund. If Bose gets the connectors right I will buy the stands.

Will these stands work with rear speakers bose 700?

The only thing I can say is they are built for the Rear Bose Omni Jewel 700 speakers. The newer rear bose speakers out. They are the smaller rectangle shaped bose speakers with the 360 degree sound holes all the way around them. I can’t speak if any other bose speaker will work on this stand since I only have the Omni jewel 700 speakers. I hope this helps you out some on your question.
