Since Osprey was founded in 1974, all the product designs have been the hands of Mike Fortenhauer owner and founder. He was 16 years old and first made a backpack. In Santa Cruz, California, a young entrepreneurs opened retail stores before rental houses, where backpackers and travelers wanted a custom-fit pack that was manufactured by Mic themselves for several days. As demand for a snug fit pack increases, Ospree moved to a current home in southwest Colorado. Today, the Male Play is a focal point of diverse personality, backgrounds and abilities. We share a common belief that adventures are open by everyone and find everywhere.
