Q: Is this the updated Ninja press that will fit an entire 4x6 block of tofu? Or is this the old model that will only press half a block at a time?

Hi Thanks for your question. The material is 304 Series Stainless Steel - Often referred to as 'Food Grade Stainless Steel'.

Q: Does it have holes to drain the excess water? What is the difference between the Ninja, the Sumo, and the Samurai presses?

Hi Haldee,The press has a plate in the bottom of the box with a small gap on all four sides to drain liquid. The plate is held in place With two removable rods stainless steel rods. The Sumo and Samurai presses have a removable plate too, but the design of the box eliminates the rods. Also each is designed with laser cut designs on all four sides for a little extra style.

Q: Dishwasher safe? Use in fridge while away at work? Liquid collects within press or leaks out sides/bottom?

Hello and thank you for the questions. We suggest hand washing as dishwasher detergents can leave residue and soap scum buildup which can make the metal less shiney. The press is not intended for marinating in the fridge as liquids drain out through the bottom. It could be left in the fridge to drain or make tofu with a small plate or saucer underneath.
