Best RGB color for Budget Mini-LED
Bought the budget TCL mini-led QM5K 50 inch and everything about it was perfect (Google TV) but the color was a little off and not sure if that is a one-off issue, or if all 5K's are like that. Very impressive with vibrant colors and smooth clear images, but it didn't have a wide range in the yellow and orange colors. It was a little limited even after trying all sorts of color calibrations and adjustments. Bought this TV and it does have smooth play issues (stuttering) at the beginning of Prime Video. After about a minute, it is okay. Tried both Ethernet and WIFI and it didn't matter. Haven't tried my fire or Roku stick yet, but I might. If this Hisense had Google TV, I would have bought two, no question. I don't like Fire much. As for the color, I use the "Custom" setting for Picture Mode and the color is EXACTLY the way I like it. It's so good, I didn't even check the other settings. I use the same exact numbers for HLG, HDR10, and "standard video (like youtube) and live TV". Having "Skin Tone Control" really helps add more color without over-saturation. I didn't see that on my TCL. Not sure if the AI chip learns the signal format, but it does seem to improve the more I use it. Not a lot, but it does seem smoother and clearer now than out of the box. Another win for this TV over the 5K is I have it hooked up to a Vizio sound bar. On this TV, when you adjust the volume, it gives a number value (10,12,14) but the TCL just shows + or -. I like to see the number volume value. Since Fire isn't intuitive for setting, you have to disconnect the eARC HDMI cable, THEN adjust your bass/treble, then plug it back in. (huh?) to add depth to the sound bar. Hisense does need to tweak this model a little bit, and if they do, it will be very much a value win as a mini-led at this price point and is very much worth it. I almost went with a QLED, but glad I spent the extra $100 or so for mini-led.

Wonderful TV.
I've waited about a month to give my review, so far the tv is great, the picture is crisp, color is great, no lag in fast action, even older streaming movies look great, I'm completely satisfied with this purchase, and the price was amazing, I opted for the old tv removal, new tv unpacking and set up, Amazon did a great job, I've seen the negative reviews, my best advice, ignore them, you'll love this tv.

Looks Good When Directly In Front of It.
Picture quality very good, when sitting directly in front. Off-axis color is completely washed out, even worse than the Hisense ultra short-throw projector (100") that this replaced due to pixelation after 2.5 years. As a monitor, it works well. I haven't tried to use the monitor's operating system, other than settings. I paired this with a mount (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F9KZY7TF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title), which was easy to setup and worked well with this TV. Glad I purchased this, after using it? It is acceptable. I will keep it. Would I have added a thousand to this budget, researched some more, and bought a higher quality unit? Yes, after seeing the off-axis color fade-out. TV is packaged well and arrived without damage. Is heavy (120#) like most TVs in this size. Definitely a two-person job to mount safely. Also of note, and I have not called Hisense Support on this unit, but I did have to work with Hisense Support on my last unit. I was never able to reach a human being there after many attempts, and the automated responses didn't remotely help me. Maybe that was the intent, because I did end up replacing the projector. This is the second purchase from Hisense, and even after indicating that I will be keeping this unit (it does look good when seated directly in front of it), the off-axis performance and the horrible experience with Support will make this my last purchase from Hisense, at least for the foreseeable future. I own other panels in the 55" and 65" range from Samsung and Sony that are many years old, still working well, and look much better. Anything from them in the 100" range doubles and triples the price, and there may be a good reason for that.

A great investment for a big screen smart TV.
Very nice smart big screen television. Very big & very heavy. Purchasing this I strongly advise you understand something this big is also very heavy and it absolutely needs 2 people to work with it. GREAT technology and the whole unit itself is very sturdy. The television pictures are amazing, and the sound is fantastic. It's a huge investment and if cinema viewing is your passion, then this big screen smart TV is perfect for you. Definitely not for a small room. The backside of the unit has 2 handles built in to help hold the tv & lift or walk with it. The volume is wonderful!

Great TV
I purchased a LG TV. It didn't last 2 years. I did my research and it said the Hisense 85" was one of the best. The installation was a piece of cake according to my great nephew. I love the remote control. Very easy to use since it doesn't have very many buttons. I just wish they would make a remote with a light in the background so us old folks could see it better. The sound is great. I don't have to use my Bose and I can hear it perfectly. The picture is great.

Super value on a great picture quality tv.
I am not a tech person and bought this tv per recommendation from someone who is and because of the $200 off coupon. There was nothing really wrong with my 55” tv but the price of this hisense was too good to turn down and am glad I purchased it. There is no comparison between these tvs! The Hisense is so much better! I can’t state anything about its reliability but the picture quality is great. Glad I bought it and would do it again.

Fire TV is bad, but TV overall is ok
Overall picture quality is good, but avoid the Fire TV version as the OS is very buggy. Input switching is hit or miss and often plugging an input in requires a full reboot of the TV for it to recognize the input. OS is very slow at times and crashes a lot. I have a similar Hisense model with Google OS which works great and has none of these issues. I'd recommend the TV, just not the OS.

Great value and very sturdy tv
I recently ordered same size Samsung hung it, set it up and returned it after I found out I can't do anything without creating a Samsung acct and it's not Android so limited apps. This TV is very heavy, when I put the wall mount on the Samsung the entire back flexed. The Hisense is much sturdier. It's a fire TV so way more app flexibility. I love the built in Alexa being able to say " install HBO app"instead of clicking through 5 screens and having to type in the app you're looking is a game changer. The Samsung was about the same price and the picture was clearer, but the Hisense has much more vivid colors and more pictures settings that actually do something. Overall my only reason for not giving it 5 stars would be it's a little bit slow/ lags behind navigating but unlike other TVs even though it lags when you click right when navigating 3 times, it goes over 3 boxes so it's not that bad. If this wasn't for my bedroom, I would find the next tier or 2 up model and hope for faster smoother Interface. Also wasn't able to pair any of my other Amazon/fire tv remotes that have been able to pair with multiple other brands of fire TVs
