Sequin Cigarette Soft Mesh 100s 120 S Cigarette Case with Lighter Pocket By Marshal

Having ordered & used several of these cases over the past 5 years, I’ve learned a trick or two to make these work well.After some initial “preventative” work and a short breaking-in period. I’ve found these cases to be quite satisfactory.1) Cover The Metal surface you are working on with cloth to prevent scratches & other tool marks.2) with pliers (I use bent nose jewelry pliers, but any pair will work), adjust clasp if necessary by slightly & carefully bending one at a time... in slight increments... until case closes tightly.3) again with pliers, very gently “pinch” metal frame to hold liner in snugly.I’m able to ultimately carry a boxed pack of 120’s (with lid torn off), along with a full-sized BIC lighter, and a container of Listerine Breath Spray... all in the main compartment.But! Initially even just the full box of cigarettes will be tight.So...4) For the first 2-3 days of receiving a new case, I just carry the cigarettes, after pushing them down gently and closing the clasp very carefully.After a couple of days the lining and outer mesh will stretch. At that time I’m able to add the lighter & breath spray. For the next day or so I’m still careful when closing the case.By the end of the 5th day I’m able to use the fully packed case without giving it a second thought.My cases generally last 6-7 months before the chainmetal mesh begins to break and unravel.Time to order a new case!Yes, it’s a bit of trouble, but if you like these chainmetal-type cases and don’t mind a bit of initial preventative maintenance, you’ll have a lovely case thats both practical and enjoyable.I also own several chainmetal mesh pieces (evening bags & a cigarette case) by Whiting & Davis. I’m afraid that even at quadruple the price, they still require the same care as these less expensive cases.I hope my hints will be useful to you. Please feel free to ask questions if you require clarification.My 3-Star rating is simply due to the fact that initial product care is necessary to make these cases satisfactory to use, and because they don’t last longer than half a year or so with frequent, but ordinary use. Not as pretty as it looks in photos, it's tarnished making it appear shelf worn, wasn't in protective packaging which mayhave caused this item to tarnish as it's metallic. It won't hold 120's size cigarettes as advertised. Added to that the clips to shut the case are to far apart & case won't close. Mfg. defect on that point, would have been a pretty case but for 3 points, too short for 120's, metallic finish is tarnished & won't clasp close, simply tossed it & gifted the back up 1 I bought.

This case is pretty, but too small to hold a box of cigarettes. It maybe would hold a soft pack, but not a box. I also think you'd break some cigarettes getting them squeezed in. What I've done is take the bottom of the box and cram it in, then each morning cram 10 cigarettes into that box bottom. It is tough to even get 10 in there. I'm putting up with the inconvenience for now, but will probably quit using it before long. It also takes up more space in my purse than just putting a pack in.

The case is pretty and I like it. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the metal frame at the opening of the case is too small so it makes getting a full pack of cigarettes put into the case very hard and it makes pulling the empty pack back out of the case difficult too

The case is supposed to be large enough for 120 length cigarettes, but you have to force the pack in and the case barely closes. I don't recommend this case for the longer length packs. The case itself is very nice, but the size description is misleading.

Nice looking but empty 100's box barely fit in case. This case measures over 6" long not counting the faulty clasp which does not even meet to close. My cigs fit with a little pushing but the sides are so tight that the box stops going in at a certain point and there is almost 1" of space at the bottom. It's too bad that this product is made well but the sizing is all off.

Very pretty. Does not fix a box of 100s. Long enough but doesnt open enough for box to go in.Cute case though!

This case is too narrow to hold complete pack of 20 cigarettes. Very difficult to get entire pack inside the case. The case and color are pretty though.
