Dries to a uniform matt finish
I have tried many, many acrylic lacquers and this one has become my go-to when I need a matt finish. I mostly use it for post-finishing 3D prints, which receive a light sanding then an even coat of the Hycote lacquer. It appears glossy when wet but does dry to a nice matt finish in as little as 15 minutes if you don't spray it too thick. As long as you turn the can upside down when you've finished and give it a quick burst to clear the nozzle, it doesn't get clogged.

Seems good
Good quality Matt lacquer. Will have to wait and see about durability and resistance to oils.

Good stuff
Great covering. Don't know about the durability just yet but I am sure it will be fine

Good at matt, bad at laquer
This product is described as a matt laquer. I've found it to be good at making metal surfaces matt, but doesn't work very well as a laquer – maybe it's designed for use over other coating/paint systems? I applied direct to clean, prepared steel and have found a year later that there is a lot of surface corrosion and a little bit of peeling. I was hoping it would seal the surface like a normal glossy laquer would, but it doesn't seem to have – whatever they put in it to make it matt seems to also prevent it making an impermeable surface. (Also, it smells *terrible*, even through a paint and solvent rated respirator, but that's pretty standard for these types of products).
