Best Controller I’ve Owned – Ignore the Noise
Hands down the best controller I’ve ever owned. I was initially hesitant after reading a few reviews about the hand feel, but I’m glad I trusted my instincts. I have average‑sized hands, and the ergonomics are spot‑on—grip shape, back paddles, and overall balance are as close to perfect as I’ve found. My Elite Series 2 used to hold that title. This one takes the crown. What really puts it over the top for me is the tactical feel of every button and trigger. The feedback is crisp, consistent, and incredibly satisfying during fast gameplay. I do wish it came with better grips and some taller stick options, but a nice set of Talons and aftermarket caps will take care of that easily. Ignore the noise about frequent disconnects. I don’t use the stock cable—it’s bulky and heavy. Instead, I run flush‑angled USB‑C cables from Amazon, and I’ve had zero issues across all my controllers. The one I use is about $15.99, but it’s worth every penny as a dedicated controller cable. They work fine on their own, but I add a rubber band for extra insurance and stability. Hope this helps anyone troubleshooting connection issues or debating the upgrade. This controller is a beast.

Disconnection Issues
Believe the other reviews--this controller will begin to have major connection issues after a period of time, which then get progressively worse. The rumble will stick at seemingly 100% (I believe the disconnecting is due in whole or part to the rumble), then audio will briefly cut out (I am guessing due to USB disconnecting then reconnecting). At that point, I unplugged, boxed it up, and contacted Razer support (past Amazon return date, unfortunately). They will not accept a return not from them, so I am trying to get a replacement controller (which I will sell). Customer service rep had to refer me to their manager because they were only trying to replace the cable. We will see what happens.

Like New Used
My purchase was a “like new”controller, but out of the box it had stick drift. I doubt it is the controller manufacturer’s issue and is likely some sort of replacement miscommunication. Other than that, it’s great.

What Could Have Been
This controller could've been perfect. The buttons feel great, and all the clicky ones are super satisfying. The extra ones on top are a nice touch. It’s comfortable, responsive, and well-built when working. But the disconnection issue is annoying. Shake the controller a little while playing and it just turns off. Definitely seems like a problem with the cable connection/port . Also, the thumbsticks aren’t swappable, which is kind of dumb for a high-end controller. You can use KontrolFreek grips, but they should have just made the sticks replaceable.

Trash, literally terrible
DO NOT BUY THIS OR THE PRO. Just check reddit, there are TONS of known issues and they arent doing anything to fix it. The rumble packs are way too strong, the joysticks are bad and have phantom movement and issues, and the buttons do what they want randomly as well. Seriously such a garbage product. V2 was amazing. This is hot garbage. Initial opinion compared to the V2 that I've used for years. The good: feels nice, the mouse click for the triggers is really nice and the usual decent quality of Razer. Buttons feel good as usual as well. The bad: I liked the V2 paddle position better. Not that this is bad but def preferred that so I didn't miss click. I also HATE that you can't swap thumbsticks. V2 had multiple spares and I love using a left dome stick and right normal, but now no longer have the option for the same price point. Overall, this SHOULD have been an upgrade quality wise with the joystick and trigger upgrades, but kind of feels like they cheaped out on the lower price point controller and took away what made the V2 great. Great controller.
I've had no issues with my controller, pretty sure the people negatively reviewing it are just unable to realize what "Tournament edition" actually means.
