This compact external BD/DVD drive is easy to store when not in use. The attached cable has both a USB-C and a USB-A connector and you can use either one as available on your computer to connect it. When not in use, the cable neatly fits into storage grooves on the bottom of the case. I connected it to my new Mac mini M4 Pro and it worked flawlessly to quickly read a 3D BD for playback on my Mac.Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. It works great and stores easily.

This drive worked great... until it didn't. I received this drive less than a week ago, and after daily use, it has stopped reading discs, and doesn't always want to open. Before today it was easy to use and worked great for both DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. I am getting a replacement so hopefully that one lasts longer. I will update if the replacement lasts longer.Update: I received a replacement and the replacement, right out of the box, would only read Blu-ray discs and NOT DVDs! The one I had prior read both fine initially, but after trying multiple different DVD discs (which worked fin in my DVD only drive) I have given up and I am returning the replacement.

The BluRay drive works well, my movies play just like they’re supposed to, only now I can watch them on my computer. Great product, thank you

Got it yesterday and it worked with no problem. You will most likely need extra software to play a bluray. Fortunately I had already looked up what I needed to download for a player like this, and downloaded it, so it worked. First I tried VLC, but that did not work, at least with the default settings or the settings I knew about. I didn't really look at the instructions that came with the drive, so I don't know if they gave advice on what you'd need to download. I didn't try a dvd or burning anything yet.

I was skeptical about this dvd/blu-ray portable player. To help you ease up the process when receiving this product, i downloaded the “FREE” DVD BLU-Ray plus software. After receiving the product it was like a plug in play process that immediately played using that software and start enjoying watching. Love it..

product does not work for me, takes forever to read the discs then does not play them. at one point it would not eject my disc even when I used the progressive eject hole so I had to keep unplugging it and re plugging it to try to get my disc out. eventually it ejected the disc but still won't play anything on my laptop :( very disappointed
