WATCHAREE'S Thai Yellow Curry Sauce | Vegan | Authentic Traditional Thai Recipe | 9.8 Oz Jar (Thai Yellow Curry, 1 pack)

I bought this to match a takeout version. It was GREAT! Slight hint of spice, a bit of sweetness. Used the whole jar with 4 chicken thighs cut up and some potato and onion (Watcheree's recipe). Had it over rice. It made 2 meals and a lunch for me. It would be the perfect amount for a dinner for 2. It is pricey, but it is about the same as I would pay for 2 take out meals. I like things saucy and this was perfect. Simmered covered so I could capture more moisture in the sauce.

I like this curry sauce a lot. I like how it's already pre-made to pour. Please note: This is not a curry paste. I like it better than Yai's Thai coconut curry sauce. The only downside is that it's a smaller container and pricey. However, it is vegan and woman-owned so I do feel good that at least the money is worth it.

Pretty sweet and a bit watery. Didn't hate it, but probably wouldn't other it again.

This is the fastest, easiest way to have Indian comfort food. I've used it to flavor chicken, shrimp, carrots, taters and rice, all to good effect, in no time. Everything about it is legit except the price. It's expensive for a small jar of heaven but its heavenliness cannot be denied.

I was expecting it to be a little sweet, but it tasted like it had a pound of sugar in it. It was very runny, had to cook it down in order for it to "stick" to the chicken and vegetables. The flavor is not all that great either, all you taste is spice and sugar. Will not purchase it again, not the yellow curry that I prefer.

If you can't make your own like myself, I find this one tasty with a few additions. Best ready-made I've found for chicken and vegetarian.

Delicious!! I purchased the curry sauce to use in a new (new to me) sweet potato soup recipe. Family loved the soup; curry sauce worked well :-) Watcharee has the lowest salt content than I've been able to find; vegan a plus for dietary compatability. Edit update: We liked the curry sauce so much that I ordered three more jars. I'd also like to mention to the seller that I appreciate the protective boxing the product was shipped in :-)

WHEN I USED THIS SAUCE LAST YEAR IT: 1) HAD SOME SOUL TO IT 2) WAY TO WATERY 3) THE FLAVOR JUST ISN'T THERE ANYMORE. SOMETHING HAS RADICALLY CHANGED --- YOU DON'T TASTE THE COCONUT IN IT OR THE CURRY AND IT'S JUST TO THIN.. THEY NEED TO GO BACK TO WAY THEY USED TO MAKE IT --- JUST PLAIN DISSAPOINTED AND THE PRICE ISN'T CHEAP EITHER -- JUST SAD MY FAVORITE SAUCE NOW SUCKS UNHAPPY.
