This is an amazing drone. You can use the programmed functions or use your phone and guide it that way. It is very light and folds into the case perfectly. Easy to use and works amazingly well. Very stable for as light as it is. The pictures are so clear it is as if it is not moving at all. I learned the hard way that it does not work over water. It told me not to do it but I tried it anyway. It ended up getting wet but I sent it in to the Hover people to see if it could be fixed. They said once it is in water they cannot fix it but they amazingly refunded $350 even though it was my fault and I was able to order another one for the same amount. More than fair. Excellent customer service as they kept checking with me to see if there was anything I needed. I couldn't believe they refunded that much money as I paid $500 for it. Excellent product as long as you don't fly it over water. Great customer service. And mostly, it's fun!

I'd give this thing 25 stars if I could, right out of the box super easy to use push a button it follows you every and records, might take a minute or two to figure out the app but absolutely love this thing would buy 10 more, if you know nothing and you can push a button you can fly to this drone and I just got it less than 24 hours ago mm

Works great. Easily controllable in the app. Recommended for the value of purchase and flight time is sufficient. Durability is great for first time flyers

I was disappointed to discover that there was no hard case. I specifically chose the option I did for the case. I was less interested in the extra batteries which i purchased assuming that would include the case. I feel that I was mislead. I bought the case separately. The drone is really easy to use and very nice. The app needs some work. A manual can be found online. Much of the printed material is printed so small that it is virtually unreadable. I took off one star for the case. The app is passable. It does work. The drone is too fragile not to have a hard case.

I hike alone a few times a week, so I got this lil guy to chronicle some of my adventures (since phone pics don't do the hikes justice). My very first time using the Hover, I realized I'd accidentally left my phone at home - but the great thing about this drone is that you don't need your phone at all to actually fly it. Obviously, if you have your phone with you, you can tweak settings, but operating the drone itself happens independently of any other device. I've flown it a bunch now, and here are my impressions: Positives: - Ease of Use (literally one-button operation) - Size (I carry it in my back pocket) - Predictable (it does what it's supposed to do) - Ease of Setup (incredibly quick and intuitive through the companion app) - Video Quality (Excellent) Negatives: - Short Battery Life (definitely get extra swappable batteries) - Power (can't fly in anything more than a stiff breeze - if the wind is strong enough to move your hair, this thing probably won't be able to fly in it) - No "Return to Home" Feature (if the drone encounters an obstacle or can't overcome the wind, it just lands wherever it is, no matter if that's at the bottom of a cliff or in a tree). Overall, I'm super happy with the Hover Air X1, and I would buy it again. I can't wait to use it on a group hike for some ussies!

The HoverAir X1 good start for a follow drone. You want be disappointed

I’ve only tried The New indoor mode since getting it because it’s raining outside but you can only walk in a straight line even if you move slowly and curve around the drone to go down another hallway it will either stay hovering where it is and stop following you or it makes a sharp jerk in One Direction and then just hovers while looking at a wall. I don’t think the face recognition works very well. The videos I saw of this the Gimble would move on its own looking for a face mine does not do that. It just arrived the other day so hopefully the weather clears up and I can try it outdoors which will be the main use for it anyways and hopefully it does better but if not I will be returning.

What I love most is not needing a controller—gestures and pre-programmed flight paths are simple enough that kids and adults figure it out in minutes. The HDR video looks professional, and transferring clips to my phone was seamless. If you’re looking for a drone that doesn’t intimidate but still delivers professional-looking results, this is it.

Die HoverAir X1 ist einfach genial! Sie ist leicht, kompakt und bietet unglaublich viele smarte Funktionen, die das Filmen zum Kinderspiel machen. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie leise sie im Vergleich zu anderen Drohnen ist – perfekt, um ungestört Aufnahmen zu machen. Für mich hat sie das Hundetraining enorm erleichtert. Dank der automatischen Verfolgungsfunktion kann ich mich ganz auf meinen Hund konzentrieren, während die Drohne zuverlässig unsere Trainingseinheiten filmt. Die Steuerung ist intuitiv, und die Flugmodi sind durchdacht – einfach auspacken, starten und loslegen! Die Qualität der Aufnahmen ist ebenfalls top, und die Akkulaufzeit reicht für mehrere Sessions. Mein Tipp: Unbedingt mehrere Akkus und eine Powerbank mitnehmen! So kann man die Akkus entspannt nebenher laden und deutlich länger filmen. Fazit: Jeden Cent wert – absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Einfach zu bedienen und man benötigt keine Anmeldung beim LBA. Die Kamera macht ansprechende Videos und Fotos. Ideales Gerät, wenn man nicht zu tief in das Drohnenthema einsteigen will.

Un indispensable pour ses souvenirs de voyages ou événement :) J’ai acheté ce petit drone pour mon road trip dans le west américain avec ma fille, j’ai pu faire de jolie prises de vue à 360 degrés de nous deux ensemble, très sympa, mieux que des selfies impersonnels. (Attention interdit dans les canyons 🇺🇸). 🦅🪶 On a utilisé l’option lors de nos balades sur Hollywood blv ou en Roller sur Santa Monica , trop chouette!! 🌴☀️ —> Très facile d’utilisation, petit se glisse dans un petit sac à main. 👏 RMQ: Parent solo, vous apprécierez prendre des instants magiques avec votre enfant autre qu’en selfie :)
