I’ve been using the DEKCO Solar Security Camera for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations! The setup was incredibly simple, and the fact that it’s wireless and solar-powered means I never have to worry about recharging or running cables. Very easy to setup with both the application as well as the hardware installation. The interface is user friendly, 2K resolution is a plus and features provides a wide variety of customization to meet your surveillance needs.

Like the camera

The camera works correctly, but disconnects from the Wi-Fi network after approximately 1 minute of inactivity. If it detects movement, it reconnects, but otherwise it cannot be controlled using the Dekco app. Therefore, it cannot be used as a surveillance camera, and it is not possible to access the recordings made on the SSD card. I made a complaint to technical support and they sent me a new camera at no cost. However, the camera I received has the same problem; it disconnects from the Wi-Fi after a few minutes of inactivity. So the camera works to emit light and sound if it detects movement, but after a few minutes it disconnects and it is not possible to see what happened. I have been waiting for a response from technical support for approximately 20 days. Today I received a message simply stating that they will refund my money, but they did not provide any explanation as to what is happening. So now I have two identical cameras that have a problem that renders them useless as surveillance cameras.

This is the second camera. The camera video is clean and sharp. The motion tracking is ridiculous and so useful. The LED lights for when it picks uo motion that yoy csn set on and off is also pretty good. We had an issue with the first camera because it was not connecting and streaming properly. But that issue was all the ISP fault. After we got that rectified it is great camera. The battery life is pretty healthy using about 15 to 20 percent usage in low sunlight time (evening to sunset). charges pretty fast and go good wifi range. Set uo is east and fast the app is pretty cool as well. You can subscribe via the cloud or use SD card. Sometimes takes a while to read the events from SD card. But then again all that is minor. For the cost of the camera it ia worth it. The 180 view is really good as well it almost as if it sees around corners. Lol. This camera ia worth the buy.

These cameras are brilliant they do everything that his advertised

Very easy to set up. I am impressed with the video quality. I have been looking for solar-powered cameras; PTZ is even better. You need a router that does 2.4 GHz, but once you have that, you can view from anywhere with the app, as long as the cameras have access to the internet. I bought another two to add to the system. SD cards do not come with them; the maximum size is 512GB.

This is a great camera, and the night vision is good also. Just remember, if you hit the microphone icon on your phone while watching, they can hear you on the other end where the camera is. The sound is clear also.

Works good 99% of the time. SOMETIMES IT Doesn't catch everything that comes in to range. And Sometimes when adjusting the Camera it edges out short of it Capable Range. Battery life is excellent with the Solar charger.

For the first month the camera worked great. Easy to install, lots of wifi signal, nice picture & tracked everything. Then suddenly it decided all it would record was the ground directly below it. It won’t move back up and shows the message "camera has been to the edge". It will do a 360* rotation pointing at the ground below it but will no long point out into the yard or driveway unless you manually adjust it. Then it just returns to pointing at the ground shortly after. Disappointed as it was a great camera for the first month, not so though for the past 6 months. likely would not buy again.
