However what you get is exceptional value for money. This is made to Technics standard, and it was so well designed it is worthy of being displayed. Note that the lime green stripe and seat details are not standard, but a design opportunity forced on me as one L shaped (4x2 size) part was missing and I could only find a replacement from my spares box by sacrificing parts from the lime green Lego Catamaran, but parts were 100% interchangeable. The only other negative points were that I chose not to use the stickers as I felt they destroy the classic lines of the car, which looks great in black. I did have some issues with the fit of the bonnet, as the flat Lego blocks fouled the side wing lines, so I omitted two blocks. Don't expect that this is a build that a young teen could tackle alone- parts need to be sorted carefully before starting and some stages need to be revisited when problems crop up - I had a couple!

As with other builds, i`ve really enjoyed doing this. Instructions are easy to follow and everything went together great. When you get to the artwork stickers, you may, like i was, get a little confused as to why there appear to be so many for the car, but there are in fact only one set to apply, it`s just that you get two colour schemes to go for :) One thing i will say, is be very careful with these when you apply them, they are rather thin and easy to tear, which i did twice. Fantastic build and as detailed as some car`s that are double the price, so i do recommend this one, enjoy!

Very happy with my model I brought. It was reasonably priced with quick delivery. Instructions are fairly simple to understand and came with 2 different set of stickers which I didn’t know about before I purchased it so that’s a bonus. If your in to your models I would definitely consider purchasing one of these items. Very good quality as well. 😊👍🏻

Very good product. Quite difficult to build but fun.It says that the motor needs to be bought separately but I can't seem to find a place to buy it.

What a great kit this is.Whilst not an exact replica it's stylish and looks great.The stick on decals are quite fiddly to get positioned properly so take your time as it would be a shame to spoil the finish just because you rush the finishing.It fits together well, although the instructions are a bit vague in places and could do with larger images to help.The moving parts for steering wheel and doors add nice nice touch.Priced at £29.99 this is a great gift for the car loving Dad, who might let the kids help out!

Was a bit dubious(used to the quality of real Lego), but thought I'd give it a go fue to the drastic price difference, very pleasantly surprised, nice quality build, no problems.
