I purchased these to keep family members from flipping switches connected to motion detection lights. Easy to install. Comes with longer screws, which you’ll need. It’s convenient to be able to open the cover as needed without having to unscrew the entire unit. It is compatible with my single, double and triple wall switch units, while not interfering with the other switches on the unit. The pictorial instructions weren’t very clear for me as to how to open the unit once installed, but I figured it out. I don’t consider myself mechanically impaired, so I’m not sure how toddlers are purportedly figuring it out so quickly.

Very helpful in protecting my switches which turn off vital items. Now there are no accidents. Easy to utilize when needed. Helps with dementia family members. I would definitely recommend.

I needed a switch cover that was kid proof and accident proof to prevent the switch from being turned off and this switch cover checks all of the boxes! I love that this cover will keep hands from shutting on/off a switch but also allowing me to access the switch easily. The cover has a snap in locking mechanism to keep it secured in place. The screws are also included and the. Olof if the screws are white. Super easy to install . Don’t look any further this is the one you must have! Very pleased with this item!

Man, this thing is a lifesaver! Some Einstein decided to put a flip switch for our garbage disposal right at the hip level in front of the sink! And my husband and I had a (not so fun) game going on how many times we accidentally bump the garbage disposal on each time we are working at the kitchen sink. Grrrr. This is really great because it’s easy (for an adult!) to push the button to open the swing door and use the switch, but then easily lock it back into place. It’s not kidproof, but it can definitely be a kid deterrent, as it has the same difficulty level to open as, say, child proofing door handles or light switches.

An outdoor light fixture has a dawn-to-dusk light bulb for outdoor steps safety lighting. This cover prevents accidentally turning off the light on a bank of light switches. There is a spring-loaded locking retainer that can pop apart and needs to be used carefully, but is easy to reassemble. Very convenient and highly recommended for this always-on use.

These really come in handy as protection against kids but also to cover a light switch you don’t use because the light is an auto on so you don’t want anyone to turn the switch off. Easy to use and easy to install. Quality is very good and it seems like it will last.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It fit perfectly over the middle switch on a three-switch plate without interfering with the switches on either side, which was a pleasant surprise. Even fits over the dimmer switch. You don’t often come across a product that just works as advertised, but this one does. It even includes longer screws to account for the slight extra thickness added to the plate, which shows some thoughtful design. Solid, no-nonsense product.

This was a lifesaver! Our 2 year old was becoming very challenging with bedtime and his favourite activity was turning the light on and off at bedtime. After using this device, no more issues with the light. It was very easy to install and hopefully it’ll be a while before he beats this device.

Feels flimsy but it fits perfectly over the switch so will see how long it lasts! Glad it came with two.
