Update: After leaving my review, I was contacted by the company and they explained why they hadn't included all of the calibration solutions with the product and offered a refund or to send the extra calibration solution. When I responded, they answered me right back. My initial annoyance was silenced by their exceptional customer service. Once I had all the necessary calibration equipment, I tried the tester. It worked very well. It was fairly easy to calibrate and very easy to use on my varying water samples. It seemed to have very accurate measurements and came up with insignificant differences when testing the same water samples several times. I would have to assume it would be just as accurate for food or other liquids if used properly. I had tested a range of water samples, some were close to neutral, some acidic and some alkaline. It seemed to work well on all of them. I would highly recommend the product and have changed from 2 stars to 5 based on customer service and product quality. Initial review: So far I am not impressed. I haven't gotten around to using it yet and will update once I have. I want it to test the pH of water. It doesnt say anywhere on the Amazon site that if you want to test water you need all three calibration solutions. It only comes with 7.00 and 4.00. Apparently you need 10.00 also but it is not sold separately. It must be purchased with another bottle of 7.00 and storage liquid. So add another $20+ onto the price plus more time for delivery. I am beyond annoyed. I would have definitely ordered a better one with everything included had i known it would end up being so expensive. If something is required for the tester to work, it should be included and there should be a way to just purchase a small bottle of that item. It also requires tissue paper. Unless you are laboratory, who has laboratory tissue paper laying around? A sample size should be included as well plus there should be information on where to buy it. They don't offer it in their amazon store either. I am absolutely regretting buying from this company and whether the tester works or not, I will never recommend them, nor buy any of their products ever again. Of course, if it doesnt work, it will be returned. The instructions also need to be fixed. They need to be more clear and have the Grammer and words checked. Some of it just doesn't make sense. I am giving two stars in the hopes that the product actually works after all this annoyance. If not, it will be downgraded to one star.

Easy to calibrate, easy to use, easy to clean. I wish I had given up on pH strips long ago. This works amazingly and is so much more accurate.

Great item for my food business. Works well and is easy to calibrate. I use three Ph solutions for calibration in bottles rather than the powder for the third Ph range

Watch the video. Mine came with no instructions whatsoever, so you don't know how to calubrate. The good news is the product page shows a video with subtitles on how to calibrate the unit - it is actually pretty easy. I believe it doesn't store the calibration, so for good readings recal before each use - only takes about 1 min or less.

Easy to use , quick and straight forward....I haven't used it a lot but it is a LOT easier and handy than using Ph strips

This product seems like it should be very straightforward, but unfortunately it’s not. The instructions say that it comes with pH powders that you are supposed to dissolve in water to help calibrate the pH meter. When we received our product, we opened it to calibrated it and noticed that it came with two liquids and no powder. And the instructions only talk about calibrating it with a powder that’s dissolved in water and not with two vials of pH liquid. So we are unsure if we are supposed to just directly use the liquid that it comes with or if that has to be mixed into water. There’s no way to contact customer support and Amazon support was not helpful either. Unfortunately we’re also doing this outside of the return window so we’re just going to have to hope for the best.

Using this on homemade canned salsa and it works great. The instructions aren’t perfect, but if you read them they are good enough. Calibration was easy and quick.
