The Way of the Bull: A Voyage

I originally had a copy of this book by the author some years ago; it came up missing, and was lucky to get this copy. Dr. Buscaglia was an amazing well traveled author, and person. If you want to travel, experience new people, new cultures, new places...readvthis book and travel with your mind in what you read!

A great book filled with wonderful stories from the far east. I lived on that side of the world for 3 years, so it was great to read stories from these cultures from 30 yrs ago. A fast, uplifting read about humanity.

Mr. Buscaglia had a marvelously big heart and he shared it successfully with so many; this book is the story of his discovery of Zen Buddhism and Eastern philosophy and culture. It's the story of how he was inspired to begin a journey which would eventually lead him to become the popular "Dr. Love" of public television and Oprah fame. He always said it was his own favorite, out of all of his writings.

Leo Buscaglia is a prolific writer and good narrator. Loved this book and all stories about the way of bull.

I love all of Leo Busgalea's books. This particular book gives great insight into life.

Part travel log, part exploration of the everyday lives of people in Asia, totally inspiring. Dr. Buscaglia's book reflects the joy and peacefulness that one can experience traveling and being open to embracing lives of people who live very differently than those of us from the west. His descriptions of the land are so vivid one can imagine sights, smells and tastes. Most poignant is the deep respect and love he attained for the people who with pride shared so much of themselves.
