What a great project. If you are wanting a great introduction to drones, this should be your first stop. Plenty of videos online, works seamlessly with Ardupilot, Mission Planner, paired easily with my TX16s Mk2. I added a fatshark fpv system, a raspi 4b, servos, and a telemetry unit. For the money, you get a drone used by researchers on autonomous flight, drone swarm shows, ai, advanced robotics and so much more. If you're a researcher or tinkerer this is a great little unit.

The documentation was excellent. We had the drone ready to fly in about 6 hours. Everything you needed was included in the kit, even the tools. We would buy this again!

Several components were dead on arrival and I was able to find far more cost effective options after actually reading about the hobby. I encourage all hobbyists to thoroughly research the DIY drone space before wasting money as I did.

Fun to put together. More than I expected once built.

I had one defective ESC and two faulty motors from the kit. To keep my build going, I ended up ordering four additional ESCs and four more motors from the same brand. Unfortunately, when I tested the motors, I noticed inconsistent RPMs even when running at the same power level. While you can buy the individual parts separately, having everything included in one kit does make the building process a bit more convenient.
