amazing brush
i’ve struggled to find a brush that successfully defined my curls, and this brush ended that struggle. the grooves along the side of the brush really help in defining the curls and its very gentle/ soft for the hair. it doesn’t really work as a detangler for me, but it works perfectly as a styler. while it can be pricey, it is totally worth it.

Perfect for Curls
I bought the Bounce Curl Define Brush in beige and I’m really happy with it. It’s one of the best tools I’ve used for curl definition because it helps create smooth, consistent curl clumps and makes my styling results look more uniform. When I use it on wet hair with product, it glides through sections nicely, distributes product more evenly, and helps smooth the hair to reduce frizz and flyaways. A feature I really appreciate is the pointed end at the bottom of the handle. It works like a built-in rat-tail comb, so I can part my hair and make clean sections without needing another tool. That makes the whole routine faster and helps the brush work even better since I can take smaller, more controlled sections. The brush feels sturdy and good quality, and the beige color is really pretty in person. Overall, it’s a great brush if you want stronger definition, better curl clumping, and a smoother finish. I have also had for over a year and only lost one bristle.

Girl Dad
I am genuinely astounded by the exceptional performance of this multi-bristle brush. It effectively combines the functionalities of a standard brush and a detangling brush, enabling you to detangle and texturize your hair with each stroke. The additional curling extensions located on the side of the brush are indeed effective when used in conjunction with the appropriate product. For a father, this brush significantly simplifies the process of brushing my daughter’s hair, and my wife has expressed her utmost satisfaction as it saves her time when brushing and styling our daughter’s hair. I firmly believe that this brush can be utilized on various hair types. Furthermore, its lightweight design ensures that it does not exert excessive pressure on your wrist, making it highly convenient to use. Additionally, it is remarkably easy to clean and has proven to be exceptionally durable since its introduction into my routine.

Game-Changer, But Could Grow Mold
I have “Irish curls” where my hair is straight on top and doesn’t curl until around my jaw. This brush makes it so this hair is actually wavy/curly! I was taken aback by how easy it is to use. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars in attempts to figure out my hair, but this is likely my favorite purchase. It’s easy to use, but does take a bit of a learning curve. There are plenty of online tutorials to assist. It is not a detangling, but a styling brush only. While it’s expensive, it has a nice weight to it and the bristles are quality so I think it is worth the price. There are a bunch of knockoffs on Amazon, but just get the real deal for $10 or so more. My one problem with this brush is that there is a small hole in the brush that water can get into. Since this brush is to be used while showering or wet styling, water is going to get into that hole. However, it’s too small for you to see if mold is growing. The company (as of when I purchased) hasn’t released guidance on this so I’m going to have to figure out how to clean it myself.

Worth the hype!
I honestly thought this was just a hype and not actually that amazing, well I was wrong. It’s actually amazing and I was able to style my hair in minutes, then let it air dry. 100% way better than I expected!! Such a simple design that really made such a difference in brushing my hair and getting the defined curls I wanted.

Worked Well, BUT Just Isn't For Me ¯\_(•_•)_/¯
PRODUCT [Bounce Curl Define EdgeLift Brush, 5-in-1 Tool] PROs - Was delivered on time + well packaged + undamaged - Was a described/depicted per Amazons description (design and color is exactly as shown in the product picture) - Defines textured hair decently well - Was a good weight - Was definitely designed for curly hair + brush styling - Seemed of decent quality material and design CONs - Grip wasn't the best, especially if your hands are wet from damp hair (handle is the same material as the body of the brush which is fairly smooth and a little grainy) - Was, personally, a little rough on my hair when detangling. I'd say the products detangling ability is decent if your hair isn't already super knotty. Applying some sort of conditioner/detangler/curl cream to add slip would also help, in general. - I wouldn't say it was meant for my hair combo. CONCLUSION My hair is 3b-3c Tri-racial curly hair that is very fine, but voluminous. Because my hair is so fine, when I define my hair with this brush the clumps are so big and defined that it looks bad on me. This is because, I need clusters of smaller curls in order for my hair to look full. So, I figured it was worth a try to see if I could up my curl game, and while the brush did its job, I just prefer sticking with running my hands through my hair to get the desired look I'm seeking. Though, it might work best on other people! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

BEST BRUSH FOR 3a/3b/3c hair
THIS BRUSH IS AMAZING! An essential for curly hair. My brother actually put me on. We both have 3b/3c curly hair. With mine adding 3a to the mix. I am not a fan of curly hair brushes as I find them not useful nor capable of leaving curls genuinely defined. but THIS BRUSH, has transformed and defined my curls beautifully! I love the pink and the fact that it’s not heavy. It’s mid when it comes to detangling for me, as I usually already have my hair conditioned before using it. I rinse it after everyone use. GET IT if you have hair similar to mine!

Denman works just as well, easier to use and clean.
I've been seeing the videos by various influencers, and I finally bought one. I felt it was important to buy the original, and not knockoff. Quality seems fine, but the results are the same as my denman brush, so for me it wasn't worth the money. I'd prefer larger spacing than the define brush for bigger clumps. I also find the brush very wide, it's hard to work on small sections without pulling in more hair than I want. Lastly, it's easier to clean product residue and remove hair from the denman. The denman travel-size brush is still my goto. I think this brush will likely just sit in the drawer.
