A Tropical Twist on a Classic Spirit

The 1800 Tequila Coconut offers a unique and refreshing take on traditional tequila. The aroma is enticing, with sweet coconut notes immediately noticeable upon opening the bottle. The coconut flavour is prominent without being overpowering, making it smooth and light. There's a hint of vanilla and subtle spice, rounding out the sweetness and adding depth to the profile. The tequila itself is gentle, without the sharpness or burn often associated with some tequilas and the finish is smooth and clean, leaving a lingering tropical aftertaste that’s not too sweet.

Tequila Lover Pt 2

I'm not going to go into any detail here (see Tequila Lover review) suffice to say if you love tequila then this one's worth a shot. You can taste the age of an anejo and this one's got taste. Smoky and smooth. Worth a chance on

Warning...too good

It's a lovely taste, very smooth and rich.Doesn't have the bite at the end, which makes it easier to drink and therefore get a hangover. You have been warned.Delicious, would recommend.I had never tried flavoured tequila, I don't even enjoy coconuts but this was lovely.

Cool bottle, but only a plastic screw top. Better than some, but not a fine tequila.

I like my whiskey, but recently i have been trying new things. I always remembered tequila as a horrible shot that was chased with salt and lemon to try and kill the flavour but this is a long way away from those memories.Any tequila that is listed as 100% agave is a very good starting point. It means any alcohol is derived from fermenting the agave plant only which is good, instead of syrups and sugars which give an unpleasant flavour and hangover. This is a blanco tequila, so no aging in wood. I actually really like this for tequila as it gives the strongest flavour. This tequila is not the boldest or most complex. You do have the usual white pepper, mild citrus and subtle musty herb of the agave plant. But all of those flavours are quite mild and almost watered down. If you are getting into tequila for sipping or just better cocktails this could be a good choice for you. This is infinitely smoother and better tasting than the cheap stuff that has a little plastic hat on top.Good quality, good value ( if on sale), recommended. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

A sipper

I first brought a bottle of this back from Mexico, it didn't last long. This is a very smooth and sweet tequila. I sip this like a whisky, I wouldn't recommend shooting it. The prime day deal was the cheapest I've ever seen this outside of Mexico. Definitely recommend if you want to bring something a bit more premium to a party, all my friends loved it.

Tastes amazing

I was lucky to get when on offer as expensive full price. Really a smooth tasting tequila as long as you like coconut

Good budget tequila

On the first sniff of it, it smells purely like rubbing alcohol, but if you take a minute or two to just smell the tequila and allow your sense to adjust to the original overpowering smell you'll notice a distant gentle fragrance of the agave juice. If you knock it down, it can't really be appreciated, but if you've adjusted your sense of smell then take a sip and roll it round the tongue before drinking it, you allow time for your taste buds to adjust to the overpowering flavours and pick up on the gentle z'est. It can't really be appreciated on its own, mix it up with a whiskey or a vodka and bring out its finest flavour.. then you will really appreciate it. I find it difficult to drink any of my whiskeys with a shot of tequila mixed in now, they all taste strange on their own. It's not the best tequila out there but I'd say it's the best budget tequila. I use shot cups to mix a shot of tequila in with whiskey, the drop in a piece of cut up strawberry and squeeze some lemon in to it, leave it for 2-5 minutes before pouring it in a glass to add the carrier (coca cola, lemon, etc.), It makes the nicest mix and an enjoyable drink.
