“Mixes Perfectly Without a Blender Ball”
I’ve been using this shaker for protein shakes and it works surprisingly well without a blender ball. Shakes come out smooth with no clumps, and it’s easy to clean after use. The size is great, feels sturdy, and it doesn’t leak when shaking. Definitely one of the better shaker bottles I’ve tried.

Great product. Does what it says on the tin.
Actually DOES WORK. Works better than normal shakers with the metal spirals. I even used to use two spirals and the mesh grid at the top and this still mixes better than that configuration. This works really well for even gainer shakes and casein. Also requires less shaking than standard mixers. Only problem is that the plastic does hold smells more than I thought it would which can be an issue if you're mixing diverse flavours. Looks nice too. Will still give it five stars for innovation and solving a problem I've had for years.

Excellent quality and no lumps
Super confused on how this would work as nothing inside the actual vessel to mix it. Works amazing, no clumps and easier to shake than the others. Worth the extra investment on cost as really study and excellent quality lid compared to all the other shakers I've had. Really happy that I got this. Ordered in pale pink - wasn't convinced on how it would look from photos but really happy with overall appearance too.

Great bottle overall
The bottle itself is great. 800+ml is a nice option to have as I prefer to refill less often. The quality of the plastic is good, it feels sturdy and the vortex mechanism works nicely to mix protein powder when you use the correct ratios. Using any more than one scoop of protein seems to leave a few clumps, but that is to be expected with it being such a large volume of powder in most cases. The cap is also a bit bulky, but has a a strong handle like ring connected to the cap that feels secure enough to carry it by without risking the bottle itself opening, but still being easy to open and use. A lot of nice colour options as well, but the simple black is my go to. No negative effects to the taste from the plastic, and there is no bad smell so far after a good amount of use. Overall a great bottle, a bit on the pricy side but will surely last a long time, whereas others start to smell bad after short amounts of use, and often add weird tastes to the drink inside.

Great quality, easy mixing, long lasting. Perfect
These bottles are fantastic, this is my second purchase, seems to be leak proof and is easy to use, and now that the price has come down its great, I use it for every gym session and if you use it for protein powder its very easy to mix with no need for that ball thing some of the more basic bottles have. Just be sure to wash it out correctly after each use as it can keep a bit of the smell, overall I get some great use out of this durable bottle.

Great all-rounder
Genuinely amazed. I don’t tend to write reviews but this deserved it. Was a bit skeptical at first with no filter but now im a firm believer in this vortex thing design. Made the smoothed protein powder shake I’ve had. Though you do have to shake it for another 10ish seconds, that shouldn’t be a problem. Haven’t had any leaks so far. Has thick plastic making it durable and for £15 (bough on sale) it’s a no brainier.

Actually works without the wire ball, but the lid takes some force.
A solid 5-star shaker that lives up to the claim of mixing without a wire ball. It's well-built, though I have some long-term reservations about the plastic locking mechanism. Pros: True "Vortex" Mixing: It actually does what it claims. I didn't have to shake this any harder than a standard bottle to get a smooth consistency with no clumps. Odour Resistant: I've used this for protein, electrolytes, and water. It washes clean and, unlike cheaper plastics, it doesn’t retain the smell of the supplements or the dishwasher detergent. Ergonomics: The loop is easy to grab for carrying, and the main lid unscrews easily for filling/cleaning. Cons: Lid Mechanism Longevity: The spout lock relies on a plastic lip pressing over a ridge. While it seals tight now, I’m concerned that the plastic might wear down over time, eventually losing that "snap" and potentially leaking. I bought this to replace standard shakers because I wanted to see if the hexagonal design actually worked. For my use case, mostly protein shakes and electrolytes, it handles the mixing perfectly. I don't have to do any special "swirling" motion; just a normal shake gets rid of the clumps. The biggest learning curve is the lid. It is very tight. My method is to hold the bottle with one hand and bang the lid down with the other until I hear a distinct "click." If you don't hear that click, it isn't sealed. Because it requires that bit of force, I do wonder if the friction will eventually wear the plastic lip down, but for now, it’s secure. If you are tired of the rattling wire ball and want a bottle that doesn't hold onto bad smells, this is a great upgrade. Just be prepared to use a little force to snap the lid shut.

Stick with your cheap shaker
First off it may say it’s 828ml however the most you will be able to mix up is ~500ml as need space at the top and even then it doesn’t provide a ‘good’ mix unless you reduce liquids to 300-400ml. It also sucks at mixing which is its job, every time I’ve had clumps of unmixed powder despite shaking for 2+ mins. Huel was the worst never managed a good mix with it. Found it mixed basic whey ok with 300ml water and 60g whey It is also uncomfortable to grip tightly and shake due to its shape and also a pain to clean as tapers thinner at the bottom The smell resistant plastic also feels like a lie after after a month of daily use it has picked up various lingering smells (left uncleaned no longer than 8hrs) All in all stick with your basic £3 shake with ball/mesh cheaper, mixes better & faster

Repeated purchase with my first being the L.E. YoungLA collab. Have tried all types of blender bottles in the past but nothing comes close to Helimix. The quality is unmatched, along with its superior functionality that doesn’t require a traditional tumbler ball to work. Saved me a tonne of time by not having to wash the darn ball after every workout. Pro tip - always fill the base with some water first before the supplement is poured in. This will allow the mixture to be even and not have the whey etc stuck.

I absolutely love this "shaker" bottle, so much so that I got a second one! I've been using them daily for my Soylent meal replacement drinks, and I thought it'd be helpful to provide a step-by-step guide for my process and to hopefully show just how great these bottles are! These steps follow along with the pictures attached to this review. 1. These are the two bottles I own, the product colors are Pink and Island Paradise; the colors only pertain to the cap, everything else about them is the same. 2. I use these bottles to mix daily my powder-based meal replacement; I personally use Soylent but I imagine any meal replacement powder would work just as well in these bottles. 3. I prep both bottles at the end of each day by filling them both with water (just plain old tap for me) to about the 12oz line; this is based on personal preference for my water to powder ratio and can easily be adjusted for your own preference thanks to the wonderfully handy measurement markers right on the bottle! 4. I then place both bottles in my fridge to chill over night. 5. Next morning I grab one bottle and add about one full scoop and... 6. one half scoop for my breakfast. 7. Because the cap makes a really tight seal, it is important to make sure you align it correctly when screwing it back on and to fully tighten; I misaligned it on my very first use and quickly realized my mistake when fluid started leaking out around the cap, but that's my fault not the bottle's, and it's a mistake easily avoided with a little attention. 8. It is also VERY important to make sure you push the drink-flap down fully so it clicks in; push using the large indentation and you will feel and hear it secure. The whole thing provides a reliable leak proof seal! 9. Then just shake shake shake! 10. The translucency of the bottle easily lets you to see if any clumping is happening. (Using Soylent, I've noticed very little, if any, clumping.) 11. I typically don't unscrew the cap between shaking and consuming, but I wanted to get the photo here. Looks great, no clumps! (Some folks might unscrew the cap after shaking to add other ingredients, and in these cases I would recommend giving the cap a quick rinse before screwing it back on.) 12. If you didn't unscrew and rinse your cap after shaking, when you first pop open the drink-flap it will have some fluid on the bump side, just wipe this off however you see fit and you're good to go for the rest of your drink. 13. The drink-flap folds and holds position quite far back; I have not once hit myself in the forehead while drinking from this bottle. 14. I also typically reseal and unseal between sips and the drink-flap has not weakened in any manner yet. Overall, I am just incredibly happy with this product and I'm so glad I took the chance on a slightly more expensive but unique item as compared to the countless cheap shaker options available. Not having the added ball was what initially sold me, but all the other elements that truly make this a stand-out product are what has me hooked and willing to recommend this with wholehearted confidence! TL;DR: Forget the cheap alternatives, this is what you're looking for; buy it, you won't regret it, you'll love it!!
