Blue Lizard Sensitive Suncream SPF 30+ (5 fl oz, 148 ml)

Definitely my new favourite sunscreen for my face. I personally struggle finding a good sunscreen for my face as my eyes are very sensitive and I cannot tolerate any kind of scent. I have only found two sunscreens that are not scented and don't irritate my eyes - this one and the Paula's Choice Calm SPF, but this one worked out better value for money. (Although I have noticed the price jumps around - I got it for around £20) I love this sunscreen, it is quite thick and so you need to spend a little time rubbing it in, but once rubbed in it looks fine. It does make my face shiny, but all mineral SPFs do that - I just wait for it to sink in then put on my normal matte mineral powder foundation, and then all shine goes away. I didn't notice a white caste once rubbed in, but then I do have pale skin so I can't say what it would be like for darker skins. I love the way it felt on the skin. Normally I dislike how sunscreen feels - it usually feels tacky and greasy. But once rubbed in properly this just felt really soft and silky. And best of all - absolutely no smell or irritation! I am so sensitive to scents and often things advertised as not having a scent still do in my experience. But this is the real deal, it smells like nothing, nothing at all.

Love this suncream. I recognise its quite expensive but worth every penny to me. I like everything about it. It doesn't irritate my sun sensitive skin, it doesn't stain my white clothing yellow and its cosmetically elegant to use - by that, I mean, it doesn't take an age to rub in and doesn't appear to leave a white cast. Another positive is that it doesn't leave my skin feeling tacky to the touch. It's also been amazing in not exacerbating prickly heat which I have suffered from this year. I cannot praise this product highly enough.

I am very fair skinned and have problems with sunscreen irritating my skin and prickly heat. This is awesome stuff, I have literally been out all day in the sun without having to worry about my skin burning. admittedly I have not yet done the holiday test, but the few hot days we have had are days I would usually be shut away in doors between 11-2 so I feel confident it is up to the job. Yes it does go on quite thick, but I get up in the morning on hot days, cover myself, dries in a few minutes, get dressed and go out. It doesn't feel sticky or greasy (like so many I have tried) It is just like having moisturiser on my skin. I am so happy I have found this stuff.

This product is easy to apply, but you need to be sparing. If you use a large blob on your face it leaves a very white appearance for a fair while. Also the product seems to become thicker as it gets nearer to emptying the container , However it does a good job for everyday face protection.

This is the cream of the crop when it comes to sun creams. A little goes a VERY long way, as it’s such good quality. One of my kids used to take it to a day long sailing camp and all the camp cousilors would even want to buy it and borrow it as it was so effective where we used to live (very hot weather and no shade while sailing all day!). Everyone who tried it found it more effective than the factor 50s they had. Never met anyone who borrowed it and didn’t think it was the best. Good for sensitive skin too.

Fed up with putting nasty chemicals on my skin so chose to try this sun cream. Did not burn when applied as suggested. Rubbed in well on your skin and no white residue. No rashes after use as I have sensitive skin. My go to sunscreen from now on. Happy customer 😊

This cream indeed protects you but I wouldn’t recommend it as it is so greasy. Fine if you are in and out of pools or sea - yes it stays on and does protect from burning. But the greasiness makes it a bit of an ordeal... have to let it absorb for ever before you can put on a T-shirt. I originally bought it to wear every day and out on exposed areas like face and back of neck in the morning before dressing - but in my opinion it’s not the one for this.

I developed a sun sensitivity last year and was a little bit dreading this summer! Just a short exposure to sun, with normal sun cream, brought out bright red blotchy patches. I have small kids and am out and about most days, avoiding the sun isn't really an option. I thought I'd give physical sun cream a go and this has literally been game changing! No redness so far and it's been a very sunny week. Very pleased. No longer looking at the weather forecast and wishing it wasn't sunny!

Para mi es la mejor crema solar que he probado. Tengo la piel muy sensible y siempre me quemo, menos con blue lizard. He probado otros bloqueadores solares pero no me gustaron tanto, o eran demasiado grasientos o no protegían. En la lista de ewg 2019 sunscreen, blue lizard se valora con un 1, la mejor nota posible porque no tiene ingredientes nocivos. Tiene base de zinc, se aplica con facilidad y no deja manchas blancas. Sin olor. El bote cambia de color con la radiación. Por decir algo negativo - cantidad es poca y el precio demasiado elevado. Para unas vacaciones en la playa calcula un bote por persona

I love this sunscreen, it lasts longer than any other cream I tried. Although it is a mineral cream, I don't feel like I have to rub it for such a long time, before it absorbs on my skin. It really makes the skin silky and smooth. Totally recommend it!
