If you're into aesthetic lighting this thing is a must have. The lenght came in 3 pieces that just snapped together easily and the base screws on. You can control it with a remote, but I prefer the app because there's seriously so many different settings. You can make it change along to music or sound. The brightest mode is pretty bright. My bonkers cats have tipped it over a couple times but it's pretty durable. I was surprised at how tall they actually are, once I can get the other corner of my room cleared I'll be able to get the second one set up and really vibe

if you are thinking about it do it! I would Probably go with Govees brand just so it could hook up to my google ecosystem if i would have put a little more thought into it but these are fantastic and would buy again!

The cord is quite short, which limits where you can place it unless you use an extension cord. Ideally, it would be more convenient if the lamp were wireless or had a longer cord to accommodate different setups without needing extra accessories. Another issue is that the lamp’s remote controls other RGB lights in my setup as well, which can be frustrating. I prefer to have separate control over each light source to keep the colors consistent according to my preference. Additionally, while the lamp’s color-changing features are impressive, there is a slight delay when it syncs with sounds, such as clapping. It takes about two seconds for the lights to respond, which can be a bit off-putting if you're looking for immediate synchronization. Despite these minor issues, the lamp’s aesthetic appeal and functionality for creating a colorful, dynamic environment make it a worthwhile addition to any room.

Very pretty back lighting for corners. I would not recommend for plants - the light is not sufficient for plants.

The color choices on this light bar is so different, and it lights up my whole room. The setting where you can sync it to your music is also fun. Great value for the price.
