Warm and mellow sound
Replace the previous dominant set which has been used for 7 months. Enjoy its warm and mellow sound. We changed the E string to Optima golden E. My boy loves it!

Sound terrible
As a music teacher I did not like the sound at all. Not good quality; the sound of A string and E string are unbearable to hear... too squirk

E string had kink in it. We have had the same strings before for many years. My wife is a very experienced strings player and knows her strings. The e-string was such poor quality it ended up fraying really quickly while trying to fix it in the peg. The plastic sleeve that normally sits on the bridge showed no flexibility at all and would not bend over the bridge - so the string could not be fitted. Not sure it was genuine quality? Sadly live in UAE, so not able to easily send back to USA and had already opened and fitted the other strings. Really not impressed as still left without the one string we really needed and it takes several days to ship to here. Our fault for buying in this way, but not easy to get good quality strings out here in Dubai. The one amazing thing was the speed with which it was delivered. We had paid for the expedited delivery and it arrived in UAE within three days of ordering.

ottime corde, un volta ho provato a cambiare ma sono tornato subito alla Dominat. Sono molto buone sia come suono molto caldo che come durata Costano un po', ma se potete acquistatele valgono tutti i soldi che costano Purtroppo solo ora mi accorgo che il venditore mi ha inviato corde per violino da 1/2 e non 4/4. Un vero peccato. Penso che non mi servirò più da questo venditore!!!

Bought 1/2 and my son’s violin teacher and I were not able to put d string through to install.
