The 18" silver necklace has a sturdy and attractive lobster claw clasp, much stronger and more durable than circular spring clasps. Lobster claw clasps are also easier to put on and take off without needing assistance from someone else. The 1mm box chain is attractive, thin, but plenty strong enough to hold multiple pendants. We then added a beautiful Rhodium plating to the sterling silver to enhance the shine and virtually eliminate tarnish that is so common with untreated silver. Rhodium is the same finish used on white gold and platinum, which prevents unsightly color changes. This is a staple of every running girl's jewelry collection and makes a great gift.
