Amazon Basics RJ45 Cat-7e Network Ethernet Cable - 2.1 Meters

Found this cable after being disappointed by a visit to my local electronics superstore who only stocked Cat5 and some Cat6 cables. The price was also more than double that of Amazon.These cables come well packaged and are quite thick and stiff but feel very durable.Connection speed has been blisteringly fast and is just perfect for my gaming needs.The only and very minor gripe is the light grey colour.I would highly recommend buying this and if I need any more these are the first ones I will get.

I did some research via Google, and the AmazonBasics Cat7 cables seemed to have great reviews all round. All I can say is I agree. They arrived promptly in minimal fully recyclable packaging and appear very well made.As it's Cat7, it's slightly thicker and less bendy or perhaps better described as having more resistance to bending, but that's to be expected with all the internal shielding inside a Cat7 cable. It really shouldn't pose issues for anyone.I'd recommend, no issues with cable or build quality, and no issues when installed.Why get a Cat5, Cat5E, Cat6 or Cat6a cable when you can get a quality Cat7 cable at this price ?

I use this cable to connect my apple 4k tv box to my router. It’s a good strong cable with descent connectors on each end which provides a nice tight fit into the appropriate Ethernet ports. It gives me an excellent picture and sound quality at a reasonable price I marked it down one star because I did have to struggle fitting the connections into the ports due to the tight fit. Otherwise go for it.

This is a superb quality cable.Part of the basics range but is very well made.Cat 7e allows for fast transmission due to the way the cable is separated and shielded internally along with the good quality components.Works really well but is only as good as your weakest link so ensure you have good quality kit to match it up with

I purchased 6 of these to upgrade my home network as Amazon and Netflix 4K kept juddering even though the bandwidth and modem speeds were well over the required specifications. Wow what a difference. No juddering or hesitation at all now. If you have this issue then go for it. The cables are thicker and not as flexible as older cat 5 or Cat 6 cables, however Cat 7 offers more resistance to RF and this is a benefit when you have music servers in the Network mix. I use TP-Link switches and the outputs are tight with these cables but once home then job done as I won’t be unplugging anytime soon. Just note that if you are constantly plugging and unplugging these cables in and out this ‘issue’ could getting a tad annoying. Hope that helps?

Well made, solid plugs. No issues at all.

I’ve bought various network cables before at various pricing levels but these have impressed me, they are a great price, build quality is great (better than some other brands I’ve used) and more importantly they work as they should.I’ve had multiple issues with other cables dropping connection, the plastic clip being broken or breaking really easily, it not sitting in the hole snugly etc. So far none of those issues.

Product works but the cable is very stiff and won’t straighten out once uncoiled
