This is the first 704 I've purchased and it's a nice addition to my collection. The Damascus blade came sharp and is centered well. Nice knife at a fair price.

What a nice knife this is, especially for the value. Real damascus blade, textured G10 scales. Came sharp but not hair popping sharp. Opening action is ok but not as smooth as some others. This is a damascus I would actually carry and use, has the appearance of being more expensive than it is. Only minor gripe is the 704 shield was placed crookedly. Nice knife and i don't regret the purchase 4/5. Obtuse edge needing touch up and crooked shield are the minus 1.

Great knife at a great price point. 704 produces exceptional knives at prices that can’t be beat. Especially when they go on sale. The price is already great and they seem to always have a sale on at least one of their knives most of the time. Will definitely buy from the again.

I've bought 3 of these. The first one I bought saved me big time when I drove my work van over a cone. That thing wouldn't pull out, even after a 2nd guy tried to pull the jammed cone out. This 704 blade cut through that thick traffic cone like it was nothing. It would've been a rough morning if I didn't have this blade. After that, there hasn't been a moment that I don't have it clipped on my pocket. I use it on various things almost every day. I don't have long nails so it gets used for things that most people use their nails for. I haven't sharpened the original I got but I'm hoping it will sharpen easily. It's cut through a lot of different materials over months.
