Excellent, I purchased both the 5th edition which I already had was very much on point with the 5th edition. The 5th edition presents topics much clear visually where the 6th edition typo or fonts is a little bit faded.. The 5th edition fonts are much clear and less expensive!!!

As an academic researcher the use of Case Study Methods is essential to many qualitative studies. Dr. Yin was an early adapter to Case Study, and continues to lead the way with best practices and insight on how best to utilize Case Study Methods. Invaluable work for academia, and easy to follow and understand for new and seasoned researchers alike. Highest praise for the text, and also the Kindle version, as both serve the greater good.

Yin's book has, in my opinion, always been the go-to book for researchers using case study methodology. The author discusses case study rationale, strengths and weaknesses of the approach, a case study planning protocol, and details regarding conducting and reporting on case studies. This newest edition adds more case study examples that include examples of the planning stage for studies. It also includes current topics such as gathering data from social media and the use of research software (such as Nvivo). I'm glad that I upgraded to this most recent edition.

Not just a superficial introduction to Qualitative Research. It has loads of examples and exercises to help you understand. Great Tool Book.

Great book for Qualitative researchers undertaking Case Study Methodology.

I like the 6th edition version. It adds more illustrative graphs and tables, which I can use in my undergraduate qualitative course.

Comprehensive. Enough detail when necessary. Clear view of the big picture. I now have some rewriting to do on my case study, but with Yin Edition 6 I'm fired up and getting results of the good kind. It's a research case study. I was feeling a bit like a blade of grass with a lawn mower approaching, but now I am in a much stronger position to present my case.

This is a very comprehensive and helpful guide to understand and conduct case study research! I ordered the book from South Africa and received it within 11 days via courier (they don’t use the Post Office anymore)

Great book from one of the key case study authors in the social sciences. The 6th edition elaborates concepts and offers practical advice. Very clear writing, explanations and examples. A must have book on case study research snd evaluation.
