Great sound quality plus excellent battery life
Superb mp3 player at a low cost. Got this in the deals and was discounted. Looks just like an iPod classic and is well made of metal. The sound quality is crystal clear and the user interface is clear and easy to use. I have 5 iPods but Id prefer this over the iPod for the price it's a great little player 👍

Looks good, it’s cheap, ok but not great. You basically get your money’s worth.
I wanted a cheap MP3 player to keep in the car, use at work, use for walks etc., something that wasn’t valuable. This does the job, but with the lower price tag you do get some annoying issues. If you connect the device to an Apple computer you will not be able to add any music to the internal storage, it simply doesn’t show up as a folder on your finder, so the 64GB is totally useless, unless of course you have a PC. Your only option therefore is to use an SD card. The whole process of adding music to the SD card is way more time consuming than connecting an iPod touch. You have to drag and drop one album at a time, there’s no option to sync with iTunes here! When you use the player in the dark it’s very difficult to find your way around the controls as they don’t light up, they just flash as you touch them. There’s also lots of selections required in order to navigate your way through artists and tracks. It also seems to automatically select repeat functions instead of normal playback. The sound quality is ok if you’re connecting to a half decent Bluetooth speaker, but when you connect large headphones there is a noticeable difference compared to an iPod. The bass is really lacking and when you try out the eq function it starts to distort, so this kind of makes the whole headphone listening experience somewhat unpleasant. It’s cheap, it looks like an iPod, but it’s certainly not as good as an iPod.

I feel cheated, poor performance in all areas
There's not many things that I instantly don't like but this is the exception....I hate it. I'm sure the bodywork is good, it's got a fair weight to it and the metal edge is nice, but that's where the good things end It's got very dated firmware where searching for tracks in folders is near impossible. Yes, there's a 'folder' option on the main screen but it doesn't understand a-z organisation (it's Chinese and they always suffer from the English alphabet organisation), which means folders numbered 01, 02 through to 099 plus normally written titles come up with A's first then 01, 10, 11,12 etc, then numbers in order up to 7's then letters followed by the 8's and other numbers. It doesn't get much better when playing a folder. I have mostly audio books and it plays all the 1's first, bypassing 2, 3, 4 etc, (it ignores a 0 at the start) so long books are played well out of orders. Buttons are very poor. The touch buttons on the front either don't recognise the input or apply multiple inputs, which is very annoying. Would love to review the speaker as others reviewed it as tinny and quiet, but it doesn't work. I found an option in the settings to turn it on and off, but neither get it to work. There's a pair of earphones in the pack, but I have Monster ones, but sound comes out 'poppy' like it's an old fashioned player, but swapping to a Sony MP3 (that keeps crashing, hence buying a new player) it sounds much better - so it's the player performance rather than the headphones. I can't comment on battery life as I haven't used it for long and I used a micro SD card so never connected it a laptop to transfer files. So, if you want to poorly listen to music that's not organised correctly and plays out of order with an interface that may or may not recognise your finger, then this is for you. If not, but anything else.

Doesnt display full song names
Doesnt display full song names, and also seems to refuse to play album tracks in order. Controls look cool, but very fiddly. Why there is a button to change the wallpaper, I don't know.... None of the video files I put on it would play (mp4 and amv files), just got "format error". It has many functions, but doesn't do any of them well. Feels like quality but too frustrating to use. Better to get a used iPod.

Solid build, quality sound
This AGPTEK MP3 Player is a gorgeous device! It is well-designed with fully functional and easily accessible buttons and ports. The screen quality is above average; the images and text are clear and easy to read. The sound quality while listening to music and audiobooks was impressive for a budget MP3 player. I was especially surprised by the clarity of the built-in speaker. Connecting the player to an external speaker via Bluetooth was simple and stable. I created several music/audiobook folders on my PC and added them to my MicroSD card. This player is said to support ‘up to 128GB card’, however, my 512GB card worked perfectly! Even though I prefer a physical user interface (click wheel) design, this MP3 player would be a suitable alternative to a high-end model.
