The last flip flops you'll ever buy
I've worn flip flops (or phillipe phillopes as they call them here in the south of france) almost daily for 20 years. You might say I'm a flipflop connoisseur. Or you might say I'm a dirty, french bum. I've flipflopped between everything from quiksilver and billabong to prada and gucci, but after I flopped on my first pair of hemp rainbows I never flipped back. These have it all:+ sturdy construction: only reason I ever buy new ones is because the old ones get too dirty. I've never once broken a pair despite all the miles I put on them.+ comfortable: stiff enough to not be flimsy and uncomfortable hiking to the natural pools on the Toiny Coast of St Bart's, but soft enough to not hurt your feet after a day of laying around. Most importantly, the strap never chafes you when it gets wet or becomes misshaped after too much salt and sun.+ light: many of the fancy flip flops are trying to be shoes, but like any race car driver will tell you: lightness is everything.+ good looking: simple, understated, and elegant. They're like a one of those linen suits James Bond wears whenever he's in the tropics. With a different brand these could be three times the price. You will see a lot of choices for these. Make sure to select the following:1. your true shoe size; you don't have to worry about these being lose because you're not wearing socks; I wear 46(EU) or 12(US) and XL for these.2. hemp; this is the whole point of these; much better than leather because they're unaffected by (salt) water3. single layer; flip flops are supposed to be light and simple; trust me.4. natural color; granted this is a personal choice and the downside to natural (beige) is that it gets dirtier faster, but it's not that bad and you can wash these and it looks much better imho than black or brown.

Best pair of flip flops out there!
I'm a girl and cannot wear the ladies rainbows because they are too narrow for my feet. I ordered the men's adult medium and they fit perfectly. I wore my last pair of hemp rainbows into the ground as you can tell by the picture, so it was definitely time for a new pair. They take a little bit of time to break in, but my feet do not hurt after wearing them for extended periods of time. I am also a flip-flop year round type of person so I get my use out of them. The only thing I would not recommend is using them around water. It tends to shorten the life of the flip-flop and eats away at the hemp which voids the warranty because it breaks away the top layer of the sandal. If you have really sweaty feet, they will discolor, and I have noticed that they dry my feet out as well. But it is worth it for the comfort and versatility of these flip-flops! I highly recommend them.

Slight differences between these and other models in terms of wear, softness, felt on bottom, etc.. still love them,
Keep in mind these are the only sandals from Rainbow that 50% of the bottom is felt as to reduct import costs from China under the 'slipper/house shoe' tax. This is similar to the cheeper pairs of Converse All Stars. I have a few US made pairs of various Rainbows as well. The felt wears off in a couple weeks of use. It is not really a big deal, but a little slick at first, keep in mind or use some light sandpaper to remove. I also noted that these seem to be softer than my other pairs, and require a much shorter break in period. I am thinking this will also mean that they will wear out a little quicker, but I am okay with this as these are less expensive than the other pairs as well and names for a more comfortable fit out of the box. Also although Rainbow says the soles are the same, the bottoms of these seem to be wearing faster than my other pairs. Again, i don't really mind that much as they are sandals, not running shoes. Overall I am very happy with these and like them as a second set to wear on days I am not wearing the leather ones. Got these as a 'beach' pair anyway.

Great Product
I have had them for a little over 6 months now, I wear them everyday and they are still holding up very well. The quality is amazing! This is made from hemp so it is the vegan option in comparison to the leather Rainbow sandals. In the beginning they may feel a bit too sturdy, but the more you wear them, the better they become. The fit gets better and the move more with your feet. Takes a couple weeks for them to break it. But once they do, they are a very reliable sandal. Would purchase again, any day.

Love the quality and feel of the hemp version
Love the quality and feel of the hemp version. Coming from years of wearing Reef Smoothies in the Summer, these are vastly superior in pretty much every way. They also seem considerably more durable, but I'll have to wait for the end of Summer to see how a season treats them. Only issue I have is with the sizing. These use S/M/L type sizing instead of shoe sizing. I'm a 12.5 2E (measured accurate at a running store) so I got the XXL as suggested by Rainbow's sizing guide. They are a bit too long in the front and back and I sometimes step on the excess toe area. That quibble aside though, I still consider these a fantastic buy and am very happy with them. Definitely recommended, but check the fit.

Perfect flip flop for any situation & feels great to walk in
GET THESE FLIP FLOPS!!! Don't waste your money on ridiculous old navy or walmart brand garbage. You should give your feet something back to help and these flip flops know how to get the job done. After having department store-type flip flops for years that were probably between $15-25, I decided to upgrade and it is totally worth it. Plus, the best part about Rainbow is there are so many options and colors to choose from. Literally no excuse not to get a pair.

These sandals are great, I just ordered the wrong size
I bought these for my husband to replace his burlap ones. I read a review where the person said he was a 10.5 and the Large didn't fit him. Since my husband is a 10.5 I figured I better size up and get the X-Large, but they were far too big. So if you're a true 10.5 then get the Large. But this has nothing to do with the quality of the sandals. I also have the women's hemp ones. These sandals take maybe a few days to break in, but then they are molded to your feet and become the best sandals ever. They don't slide around on your foot the way rubber or leather sandals would. My husband also said the hemp was much more comfortable than the burlap ones. But again, only get the XL if you really are a size 11 or 12.
