Good quality and fully featured. Works straight away, and has some handy features. Much cheaper than other b2b sellers.

Great for small business inventory management. it has 2D capability for traditional barcodes and QR codes which scan seamlessly, and without issues. It also has a screen which shows scan confirmations clearly. Wireless connectivity is good and reliable form the base station. Bluetooth is solid also. Keypad is good for manual entry if barcodes are damaged or missing and the USB connection is reliable. Build quality feels robust, comfortable for long durations also. The 2.4ghz connection did cut out briefly sometimes but its pretty stable overall, its mostly when theres a lot of interference from other devices.

It has a large, easy to read, screen which can instantly show the scanned barcode. The barcode is easy to set up via the on-screen menu. The scanned codes are also stored on the reader. When use with a PC etc., it is very easy to input the scanned information into software. The simplest example of this is where when you scan a barcode, the code information is instantly pasted into that software as if it had been pasted from the clipboard. I scanned various types of barcodes and they all scanned in instantly with no problems, None of the missed scans etc. that you can get from some scanners.

The Tera barcode scanner is a pretty versatile device which can be used as a simple 'scan and go' solution, or can be tailored for more bespoke use-cases thanks to the numerous configuration options and setting - some of which can get pretty complicated. For me, I wanted a device to help me catalogue my extensive video game collection and I had great fun using the scanner for that purpose. For me, scanning barcodes never gets boring and I found this scanner to be both reliable and comfortable to use, even over a prolonged period of time. I was able to transfer the saved data onto my PC which I was able to use in various software packages which is exactly what I needed from the device. All in all, a handy bit of kit and something that I'll continue to use as my collection grows.

This handheld scanner is lightweight and doesn’t require any further software or app installation to use it. Despite the affordable price, it can support a wide range of barcode types and so far it hasn’t let me down and has a 100% scan rate with no errors. It scans both physical codes printed on paper and virtual codes on screens with no issues so far. It operates via a wired, wireless and Bluetooth connection and has an adjustable volume on the feedback when it identifies a code which can also be set to silent. The screen is backlit and easy to read and buttons feel positive and are responsive. It has read barcodes that are poorly printed, dirty, and covered with plastic wrap, and the transmission distance seems good and I’ve used it at around 150ft. The design feels lightweight and compact, it seems durable and feels comfortable and easy to grip. In my opinion this is an easy to use, sturdy barcode scanner. Not very happy, got this has it said it works ok with IOS iPad, yet it’s to buggy, say if your in excel write in a cell you have to press the trigger on scanner twice every time !! Plus it feels so plastic, paying nearly 60 pound on this isn’t worth it

The Tera USB Wired 1D Barcode Scanner allows you to scan 1D barcodes. It can work with several platforms. I have used it with windows Microsoft Excel and on android phone using a USB-A to USB-C OTG adapter. The device is plug and play. It works straight out of the box, just plug in and go. This device doesn’t come with software. It is basically a standalone unit that interprets the 1d barcodes and displays the resulting alphanumeric code. I suspect you can get whole systems that come with the windows and/or smartphone software included, but this is purely the barcode reader. There is a User Manual, but this is purely a scanner command manual. It is full of barcodes that relate to a specific function. You scan whichever command you want to execute using this barcode scanner. For instance, there is a barcode to switch off the beep, turn the beep sound volume down or up, etc… The manual is full of these codes (see the image for examples). This device has the following barcode types: code39, code 39 ASCII, code 128, codabar and interleaved 2 of 5, plus quite a few others. I didn’t try all of these, but I did try scanning a code 128, and it scanned fine. I created the barcode using a free online barcode generator. I have attached a video showing the unit being used for basic barcodes and also a Code 128 barcode, which produces the full URL link to this device on Amazon. This is a piece of kit that relies on software of some kind to get the full benefit. But as a standalone scanner it works flawlessly. It was precise, fast and setup was a complete breeze, plug and play as advertised. The cable is nice and long. If you already have software and are looking for a replacement scanner or are writing your own software, this is a great device and for £12.89 this bit of kit is great value.
